Should plague's vile purge be an instant down?
We have so many killers with instant downs now oni, leatherface, billy, ghostface, myers, etc
So why doesn't plague get instant downs with her power?
Survivors hold her power hostage and if they don't heal then they are in the broken state for easy hits but if they do heal now t hey're fully healed and you have a situational power that can only damage them but not put them in broken state and you have to hit them twice now.
for a power this situational and is 100% within the survivor's control it should be buffed a bit

No I don't think the Plague's form of giving infection should also insta-down survivors, as this would make Corrupt Purge substantially weaker than her main power.
I also don't think her Corrupt Purge should instantly down either. Let's look at all of these killers you've listed:
- Oni, must get close to the survivor to damage them
- Leatherface, must get close to the survivor to damage them
- Billy, must get close to the survivor to damage them
- Jamesface, must get close to the survivor to damage them
- Myers, must get close to the survivor to damage them
Now, let's look at Plague:
- Is a ranged killer, does not need to get close to the survivor to damage them.
We've all seen how nuts strong Iridescent Head + Infantry Belt was, making Corrupt Purge literally even better than that combo would be a stupid idea.

I think you meant Corrupt Purge not vile? I could see Corrupt purge creating an instant down.

She needs something not this though. I would be happy if my fountains be easier to obtain instead of costing precious time. I honestly want it to be like fred (he aims at a gen power bar increases and teleports to it) I want her to be able to look at fountains and collect the Corrupt that way no time is lost at least not like now.

Plague doesn’t get instant downs with her power because it’s a ranged power and therefore can hit survivors from a distance, over pallets and through windows. It can also hit multiple survivors in one stream. You can’t do all of that with the other instadown powers, the closest thing was Iri Head Huntress and the devs nerfed that for good reason.
I’m not necessarily opposed to Corrupt being buffed but this would be absurdly powerful.

Making corrupt purge insta down would actually be a nerf because the only reason why survivors cleanse is so they dont get one shot from corrupt purge

Iri head give a single hatchet.
A vile purge throw off 10 blob.
So you compare a single hatchet that need a reload, vs 10 blob fall from the sky without reloading?

No instant down but I'm a fan of removing the heal factor when cleansing. Personally i feel that is her biggest downside.

What do you mean, explain it? I mentioned it in my comment. It got nerfed so you only have one hatchet when you use it, meaning that if you miss your hatchet you are forced to either reload or become an M1 killer at 110% speed, and if you hit you only hit one person and then have to reload or use M1. The power of having a ranged instadown is balanced by its limitations.
Plague with instadown Corrupt would be a 115% speed killer with 60 seconds of a ranged, infinite ammo, multi-hit instadown power. You really don’t think that would be a bit busted?

because it's 100% in the survivors control for vile purge
huntress just has to go to a locker
therefore vile purge needs a buff

have it remove broken and infection but they are still injured.

To be honest I feel like Plague is fine with how she is for the most part - Thing is the most efficient way to play her likely isn't how the devs intended her to be played.

Plague isn't top tier but she isn't weak, just an unpopluar pick for killer.

Her fountains should not reset if survivors cleanse all while she doesnt consume corrupt.
Its a hard work to make all 6 fountains corruped. Shes deserve to have all survivors Broken after that.
Thats the only change I would do

All she really needs is...
1. Using fountains DOES NOT FULLY HEAL SURVIVOR, IT JUST REMOVES INFECTION.
2. If all fountains safe corrupt, they REMAIN CORRUPT!
3. Gens with vomit on them causes regression.
4. Fully infected survivors can't repair gens.

1 is one of the best ideas for her. You should not be Injured, Infected, then in a few seconds time fully healed. It's terrible and I wasted my time bringing a Med-kit.😂

That killer already exists and they're called Legion. Lets not forget that its incredibly easy to infect someone, you don't even have to be near them.

Used to be on console. It's not like theres any precision required, you don't even have to fully infect. Leave them on a gen for 15 or so seconds and they're infected. Heck, just puke on the gen and leave. Forcing an additional 16 second minimum heal off of every infection aswell as the time spent running to a fountain and cleansing is pretty crazy.
It would also kinda ruin the point in cleansing, you'd stay injured anyway. All you're doing by cleansing is giving her her power.
And making it so you can't repair gens while infected completely throws out the risk/reward aspect for survivor on staying infected.
It's stupid and would make matches way less dynamic.

Yeah because healing from serious chainsaw wounds with a backrub makes total sense, as does being able to stun nemesis with a little piece of wood

Cleanse so you are not broken, so the team don't go down in one hit, and can't be tracked with all the coughing/puking are enough reasons to cleanse. Being fully healed is just a added buff to it for survivors that IMO is not needed.
True but there are bandaging sounds when healing there animation of it just stinks. I personally always thought being fully healed by cleansing (instead of just removing infection/broken) was a bug that never got fixed. The way it looks to me anyhow.

Plague is my main and she's fine. She's about average but she's fun to play and doesn't need iridescent vomit. There's really no killers that need buffs considering the buff-disaster-in-waiting Trickster that is soon to come out. However the Nurse needs a rework and Spirit, Blight and Wraith all need nerfs.

I love playing Blight, but I think any Killer that has the ability to transverse the map quick needs a significant cooldown to prevent them from going from gen to gen to gen. Blight, Billy and Wraith all can transverse the map and instantly be in a chase right after hooking someone, all the other killers perform fine while being constrained to normal movement and that's how the game is balanced. Map transversal abilities need significant cooldowns, especially on small maps, where those killers are guaranteed 4ks.
(I love Billy and I play Billy and Blight knowing they are in need of nerfs. However, I am very limited on using them because I don't want to rank up so far that I can play the normal speed killers).

No. I play her a decent amount, and she's reasonably comfortable now. I think her power could use a tweak to make it a bit stronger, but any OHKO ability utilizing her vomit would be OP. As said before, she gets multiple potential hits with it and 0 reload for 60 seconds. As it is, it's in a nice spot. Not too powerful, but still a threat.
Maybe tweaking her add-ons to also give other status effects with Vile Purge would be a nice addition, but not too much. imo at least.

Plague needs QoL tweaks, but not wholesale buffs like this. She's plenty strong enough right now.

4 is worst change I've ever seen. If survivors cleanse and she refuses to use corrupt purge while infecting them again would make her taking game hostage when survivors cant do gens and there's no fountains left.
And there is players who would do this because they just want to ruin game and be douchebags.

Fountains automatically give her Corrupt Purge when there's none left because they've all been used. Then they reset. Not sure how many reset, but there are never 0 useable fountains at any time.

I know but this person said that fountains should not reset and fully infected survivors cant repair gens. Problem is that there would be games where every fountain would be red and every survivor fully infected which gives her chance to take game hostage and keep survivors there to make them quit.

Yeah. This is really what she needs. Not a rework or straight up boosting, just some tweaks or adjustments to her kit. She isn't oppressive or overwhelming, but she does quite well if you work with her powers.

Plague needs buff but not to her damage as she can deal a lot.
She mainly needs ways of actually getting to use corrupt purge more as her fountains spawn so far away from everything that she can never even grab 90% of them across all of the games I have both played with and against the plague.

When all fountains become corrupt they become pure and the plague forcibly enters corrupt purge.
That's is how plague has worked since launch.
Edit: Aka plague is designed in a way so survivors can always cleanse.

She doesn't need an insta down, just some small tweaks here and there.
I would make Cleansing require skill checks and require the same amount of time to cleanse as if you were healing with sloppy for fully infected, normal cleanse time for infection stage 1.
I would totally re-evaluate her point score systems for actually using her power correctly.
I would give plague a 10 second haste buff whenever a survivor cleanses to make her reach the fountain quicker, and have the haste effect disable while in a chase.
Vomiting on a Gen should apply regression as if you kicked it and score the points as if you kicked it.
Maybe vomit slowly decays item charge usage overtime while infected

As much as I would LOVE that...i think that would be crazy for the survivors. I think cleansing having a slight delay before rejuvenating you would be an option though, like 10seconds.

Something like this, functioning like a Syringe, would be good. Then her add-ons could increase/decrease that timer depending on what other effect it had. I'd say 10-16 seconds would be comfortable. Too quick, and it's just as wrong as it is now where they can heal in your face. Too slow and it would be worthless to cleanse at all since she'd have plenty of time to hit you.

The only problem is there is no other killer power that lets you heal just from interacting with a fountain. Even if you infect them and hit them they get a free heal. It's BS

it is indeed BS...but on the flip side our infection robs survivors of their free sprint burst and we don't give AF about Iron Will. The Entity giveth and the Entity taketh I suppose.

I still know that fountains reset after all of them are corrupted but my point is that go to first page and read @Killing_Time's comment and specifially number 2 and number 4.
