One player left

Recently, I've seen a lot of killers knock the second to last player to the dying state and leave them to hunt for the last player before hatch opens. While there are a couple of perks that allow you to heal yourself from the dying state, generally, the players are stuck. It might be a good idea to incentivise killers to hook the player instead of leaving them there to keep the hatch closed. Perhaps giving the killer a point bonus when one player remains, or allowing the killer to see/hear the hatch when nearby. Giving the killer a reason to hook the player and open the hatch. I feel like this would better balance the late game.

We can already see hatch without hooking someone and tend to find it before the survivor does at that stage in the game. When it's open we can all hear it for like a mile away. We can do these without being forced into a potentially bad play. It's on survivors to either help each other or be prepared for worse case scenarios like this. You can't have it both ways though, not entirely. You have the tools at your disposal, but you're going to suffer somewhere else. You're not owed chances to escape just like killers are owed kills.

Late game is fine. The hatch is a possibility, not an entitlement. It used to be that the hatch couldn't be closed at all.

Y’all probably know this by now but until it’s changed you can find where the hatch is going to spawn even with 5 gens left.. if you’re walking or running around and suddenly elevate an inch or two.. keep a mental note. Killers and survivors can both attempt to take advantage of this.
