disconnected me from a game like the killer d/ced but still lost pip

i was playing survivor with friends and me and my other friend got disconnected like it does when the killer disconnects (it said lost connection to killer host) and i didnt loose connecting to my internet because i could still talk to my friends is playstation party. my other two friends were still in the game and it just said that we disconnected and in the end game screen it said i lost a pip even though i didn't disconnect.
