SWF ... here's the downfall of dbd
I could write a novel ... but I think the title is enough to explain what I think!

No need to write a novel, the answer is always no, taking away SWF gameplay could kill the game..

Considering SWF has been in the game since 2016, I'm pretty sure DBD is going to survive implementing SWFs...

SWF is hardly the downfall of the game. Sure games against coordinated players can be tougher than playing against solo players. But you'll still beat SWF teams whose skill is worse than yours. It's not an instant win mode like people act like it is.

Damn, DbD's been surviving its downfall for 5 years? Impressive.

Ahhh yes, the thing that got added like a month after full release is definitely the downfall.

SWF have been a part of DBD for years. The game is still here and growing.

The game needs to balanced with SWF is mind.
The game would die if people couldn't play with their friends.

If I’ve said it once I’ve said it 10000 times
SWF is not the problem, 3rd party communication software is the problem, the game was made with the intention that the survivors would not know everything that is going on at all times, it was never the intention that you wouldn’t be able to play with your friends, it was however intended that you wouldn’t be able to communicate
you want a scapegoat? Blame Discord, not the SWF system

that's exactly what I meant! but you know better than me that in this forum all phenomena are heard!

Balancing a multiplayer game is probably near impossible to do and work with, but there’s some things that the balance team has to understand & see:
1) They need to align soloQ survivors to an optimal level/SWF. Before killers start whining, it allows a more precise balance to both of the roles.
2) They need to remove breakable walls. A silly and stupid side-objective that prolongs chases (when you’re in the chase and need to break it), which is the exact opposite of what you want to do. Sure, get them out of the way at the start of the match, but you can’t always.
That should suffice as a stepping stone. Oh and by the way, revert Billy. SWF is an issue because it’s so vastly better than SoloQ.
