The birthday flashlights do not allow the killer to drop survivor. While confetti does appear, it does not seem like the lights stun the killer. It is only with the event flashlight that this issue happens.

Because I just battery safe somebody with this battery in last game it looks more like bad timing. It works perfectly fine.
