Fix Skill Checks when you leave a gen.

Member Posts: 941

Today i was playing survivor and i was repairing a gen with 2 other survivors.

The killer was approaching us so we left the gen and wanted to run away.

The moment we let go 2 of us get a skill check and we blow up the gen 2 times, just because we let go.

It feels like a bug and is super annoying, it just happens way to often.

What do you guys think of this?

Yes please! This is SO annoying.

give it the overcharge treatment and give the chance to hit the skillcheck.

also take that ability away from Overcharge. That perk is already weak enough, if the surv want to tap there is no need for them to also hit the check and negate the perks effect completely in a run-by

Nothing more annoying than taking a my hand of the space key to grab a drink of water only for a skill check to pop out of nowhere. 😂

It isn't a bug, but it's definitely a significant QOL thing.

The one thing i'd say is that you shouldn't be able to leave a gen and still succeed an Overcharge skill check. Trying to "just tap it" against that perk shouldn't work.

How would this even work without making it to where you can leave the gen and never actually hit skill checks?

    The same way Overcharge works.
