Worth getting back into DBD?

One of the main reasons I quit is infinite loading screens, crashes and devs choosing to add a new killer every 2-3 months instead of fixing the already existing bugs. It was just an unpleasant experience and I didn't find the game enjoyable anymore. That was somewhere before the Ghostface was released. Are these issues still around or is the game top notch nowadays?

About crashes: they have disabled DC penalties because people are crashing too often. That explains the current state of the game. There are bugs which have already lasted for years (like silent dying state) and are still there. And yeah, they still release a new killer every 3 months. Recently they have added RE chapter with Raccoon City PD as a new map, which was disabled for a month because, once again, people were crashing.

And yeah, the hit validation. People grew so tired of getting hit through pallets and windows that shift+w is the new meta now, no kidding. Just running away is the only thing you can rely on now, since pallets and windows are gambling.

God almighty no. I love this game but it is seriously not worth the frustration, just play a game with a community of people that actually care about one another. Try tf2 or titanfall 2.

I have several thousand hours in tf2 and will probably rack up some more lol.

Thanks everyone but I probably won't be booting up dbd anytime soon.

Seems like all the things that made me uninstall in the first place are still there, so what's the point.... Cheers!

People are overwhelmingly negative on the game and for very good reasons, but the core gameplay is still intact. People hate to love the thing that they spend hours on because they care for the product, but yeah, you should totally come back.

New killers, new survivors, etc. DBD is most fun when not taken too seriously because as for me, if I don’t tell myself not to rage if I don’t even get 1 kill in, I’ll feel like garbage. Don’t let your mind get the best of you!

Sure, bugs are frustrating and all, but giving something a second chance even if it looks grim may prove it’s worth :)
