Perks like Kindred are bad, change my mind

Yes I know my other two teammates are not contributing to the team

Yes I know the killer isn't anywhere near you

Yes I know I have to run all the way across the universe to go unhook you.

Don't remind me, I like pretending that there's a good reason why they're leaving you on the hook. Please stop breaking the illusion.

If you're solo, and hooked, your mates knows if someone is going for the save or not, avoiding the classic "uh, there's probably someone going to save this guy" or the also classic situation where both survivors are going for the unhook instead of one on a gen, and one for the save (and the one that is chased).

If there is someone else hooked and not you, it gives you the information of where the killer is going next, and you can decide to go for the unhook if nobody's going for, or continue to do gen if you see someone that is going for the save.

    It gives efficiency, and organisation.

Plus with Open Handed, you see the killer so far that it's ridiculous

I feel like im the only person who enjoys playing solo, i get so much enjoyment from seeing what my teammates are doing, id much rather laugh and have a good time than always "win"

Congratulations on your godly ominscience. The rest of us pleb solos need Kindred to function as a non-communicative team.

For the fun of it, I just tried playing a match without Kindred. We all died. RIP.

If you are solo, Kindred, Bond or Empathy is needed. You need that info.

sometimes kindred is useless because wraith is really popular but i still like it. Open handed has saved me games

You clearly haven't used it enough in solo to see how good this perk is

How about you tell me what you think might be good about Kindred… think of some scenarios where it would absolutely be useful.

On paper, Kindred for solo players would seem top tier. But in practice it's worthless. Even with Kindred, either your teammates will all have a mad rush to unhook you to get that sexy Safe Unhook points, or no one will bother saving you because they are too busy doing gens, or healing themselves or others.

Or a basement camping bubba hooked a teammate with kindred, and you will have the other teammates crouching around doing absolutely nothing until the last moment to unhook but of course they are all dead lulz.
