    The only real chance to give DBD a proper rival died when the legal issues killed Friday the 13th, DBD has reigned to long to really dethrone easily,

    No game can take DBD's crown, we've seen it tried time and time again and it'll never happen. Will any other game have the demogorgon? Pyramid head? Freddy? DBD has so many unique concepts it alone shall hold forever, which allows it to incredibly easily stomp any competition that could even be considered to be a dbd counterpart. No game can survive under its oppressive shadow

    I'd be interested to see it played live. It does have some darker parts, but as a brand new game it will have a long way to go to compete.
