Just wonder if that's bannable or not, the game is pretty much 4k (during the event) anyway and as soon as the first survivor suicides there is no point for the other 3 survivors to keep trying on 5 gens with ruin. Just want to be sure of suiciding is reportable or not.

You can't prove it was intentional so no(maybe they are going for an achievement when you have to free yourself from the hook a certain amount of times ). And I personally refuse to mash a button during struggle unless the gates are open and my teammates are coming for me.

People might be suiciding because they KNOW no one is going to come for them during the event once they get hooked.

I know I do sometimes since its obvious if you are playing with Survivors who are just there to farm Cankers.

To commit suicide can be a legitimate tactics to save companions' life, for example if you see a survivor who is approaching at their big risk (killer hidden with Insidious).

People are suiciding alot right now to get to a new game because once all the nectar is gone you just want to get into a new game to harvest more

Yes, I will probably do the same because my first few games as survivor have been a complete mess with sandbagging etc just becuse of their greed.

It's not any more bannable than camping is.

Nope. Even before the event, when I was watching one of the personal streams the Devs do, I asked if that type of stuff was bannable. The answer was: No, because it's too difficult to prove that it was done to throw a match.

    No, it's not.

If you can show me a bunch of times when they're doing it, then maybe we can start talking about it being griefing. But one time is fair game. If someone just wants out of that match they're free to do so.
