The real question
I've noticed a lot of people talking about bugs, glitches and hacks and I just wanted to ask... how long till this game goes down the toilet? I go online and nowadays all I see online is cringy fan art (no offense) and a lot of complaining so in all seriousness... how long till this game dies?

Considering this is the only game of its kind that has succeeded in any form at all, and they just got Resident Evil as a license... Not soon. Not unless things get really bad. Not saying things are 'good' now, they aren't-- I think the performance issues this entire event can not be excused. That being said...
This game has no competition, and it's getting more and more licenses. Despite what people say, this game is not going anywhere, not anytime soon.

That's a relief I would hate to see my favorite games fan base leave

Let me introduce my cringy fan arts
When a game dies, it dies. Why asking this question?

There are still some adjustments needed to the game fun for everyone. Grinding, some kind of build in anti tunneling.
I wanted to have early game collapse, but since Lethal pursuit exist...
There are more spicy one..

DBD fans have a huge problem with feeling sorry for themselves. Their experience playing the game is all that matters and everyone else has it easier. There's a lot of Twitter and Tumblr people that love the game too, and you know how nasty and dramatic they can be. So I know exactly what you're talking about lol
Overall though, those are just the loudest people. I assume the majority don't even participate in the community, so what you're seeing online is really just a fraction of the userbase. As a whole, every part of the userbase is keeping the game active. It might eventually bleed users, but it's still a fairly casual online game that allows you to play with friends, so despite its flaws it will probably stick around as long as Behavior wants it to.

It will stick around as long as the base will hold. It needs to be rebuilt from the ground up but I doubt they do that.

It'll be here awhile. Seems many hate-play the game. They have a ton of horror licenses and more all the time. The nearest game like it I could stand is at about 1/10th of 1% the player count at best. The only reason I'm on the forums is I got bored a good while back waiting for matches.

There are over 4000 pages on the general discussion forum alone, going back over 3 years to before the Curtain Call chapter. The kinds of complaints you are talking about have been around since the beginning.
