How can people find Wraith fair
I still don't get how people find Wraith he isn't Spirit power full in the way she's broken but he still fun to face because there is no way to counter him and he can be fully uncloaked but no the person to the cloak button and can remove the fact he was uncloaked yell you want say no Wraith is fine your just being a baby because you can't play the game properly go ahead I don't care Wraith is and will always remain unbeatable because he is overpowered and his add-ons make it worse so go ahead say i'm wrong I dare you.

If you think Wraith is unbeatable then I got some bad news for you bro

People like you can't seem to quit complaining... it's always, 'This killer is broken!' or 'Too OP!'... just give it up. Wraith isn't even a spectacular killer by the player base. He'd just scrape the barrel of 'decent'.

Did you tried playing wraith?
7 -
understand I dont? english first language not perhaps?

what i find frustrating is how brain dead your average wraith player is. they're just running all seeing and some other nutty addon and running NOED and play pretty scummy. In my experience, Wraith is kinda hard to cleanse all 5 totems against because of how intense he can be while also being able to not commit to chases.
I wish they never nerfed Freddy tbh, I liked hating Scary Terrys guts. Now I'd be relieved to be not against Wraith.

Wraith is just a step up from his previous version now, but he's not unbeatable. I'm awful against him and Nemesis but I have figured out some ways to fight them recently. When Wraith cloaks, he is more likely than not doing so for a speed boost and a possible body block. If you hear him uncloaking or snarling before he gets the chance, run away and if possible take windows over pallets which are easier for him to block and attack with. Also, listen to his bell when you can and you will immediately know what add ons he is using. It's not much, but I hope this helps :)!

What?

My first match against Wraith after his update was oppressive as hell. A no fun allowed kind of match. I'm not a fan of how he body blocks survivors into corners either. It's a really cheap tactic (but not the worst if he's willing to move after the first hit).
He can feel pretty unfair, but it all really depends on who's playing him and how.
1 -
eh, id say with his new buffs hes more than decent

What?

Good joke

You are wrong.

I don't think he is OP, but I wouldn't say he's scrape of the barrel decent either. With his buff, he's become high mid-tier with the right add-ons. He's annoying to poor loopers and a nightmare to stealth players when he's running his wall hacks, but against anyone who is good at looping, he is basically an M1 killer.
1 -
Need to practice survivor a bit perhaps? 😃
1 -
Pay more attention to sounds. Most of the time you can HEAR Wraith before you can even see him. When you hear his snarls or footsteps, position yourself either near a safe window (like Shack) or a long pallet loop. His speed boost lasts only 1.25 seconds so he can't exactly cover every single distance you make.
If you somehow have to resort to an unsafe loop for his lunge, just treat him sort of like a Pig dashing. 95% of the time a Wraith will fake going a way and instead go the other, so don't fall for it.
His only addon that needs changes is All Seeing Blood, everything else is fine.
So yeah, you are wrong.

Have you played as Wraith? If you haven't I strongly recommend you do. You'll quickly realize his limitations.

It's a shame that people can't say a killer is strong without it turning into "this is OP". If Wraith 1v1s you, he loses against teams who know how to do gens. It doesn't matter if you get downed if 3 gens get done in exchange. Learn his lunge distance and you'll be mostly fine. If he's smart and plays hit and run, medkits will cause him to lose, because he's aiming to injure but not down (until later), and your healing before he can come back and interrupt you puts a wrench in that plan. He's nowhere near the level of Nurse of Spirit.

Yes I have everyone was killed i was a red rank they were also red ranks
0 -
This is why you practice looping instead of holding W.
Holding W players think that every killer is OP.
The CHAD loopers think that wraith is stronger but not unfair or "OP"
1 -
I have and i see no limitations
0 -
Then we can tell that you are lying, Wraith is a very limited killer, who is decent but not oppressive as you make him sound to be.
1 -
People are just conditioned to thinking Wraith is weak from all the past years that he actually has been weak.
Wraith today is a different beast and frankly in my opinion is stronger than Spirit.

Wraith is currently the stongrest killer in the game in my IMO. Not only can she get around the map as fast as Nurse but her cloak has no cool down unlike blink so it’s better for not only mobility but kills too. The speed boost eliminating loops like blink but with infinitely spammable unlike blink.
Then she is also invisible as well so you never know that she’s coming till you hear the bell unless you are forced to use low tier perks like spine chill instead of more exhaust.
I think she is basically the best parts of Nurse and Spirit kit melded together into one super overpowered kit with far too much capability and no counter play.
Wraith has Spirit power with no cool down but she can still see survivors and her speed boost after power ends up faster and last longer than spirit.
But also basically Nurse power too because it renders all loops useless and speed boost is basically like a blink BUT it also get around map faster than blink and with no cool down.
Stupid gullible killer.
1 -
You realize Wraith is a dude right?
Also, Wraith is nowhere near the best killer in the game.
6 -
I pretty much only play solo survivor and I don't think Wraith is overpowered and in need of a nerf, although he is very strong and destroys most of the time I go against him. He can't really avoid strong tiles like the house loops and main structures like say Spirit, and loops with "line of sight" blocking can be tough for him as well. I think the biggest problem with him right now is his pick rate, it feels like every fourth game is a Wraith which is making him a bit annoying to go against.

Red ranks ain't mean #########. Wraith won't stand a chance in top MMR.

I kinda wish his out of stealth speed boost didn't beat sprint burst. Makes him miserable when caught in maps with large dead zones. Not to mention you basically need a window or pallet right next to you to stop him landing a free hit. But I dont think hes OP by any means. Just lacks solid counterplay
1 -
English please?

You lose collision when you get hit, so even if the Wraith doesnt move after hitting you...you can run right through him. This is the same for all killers.
1 -
I realized that might've been the case after I wrote it. Just makes them seem like more of a jerk with that in mind lol
0 -
Who was a jerk? If a killer bodyblocked ya in time for a hit right after...thats fair game. If they held ya there for long periods of time...abit different. I dont see how being able to phase through the killer after they smack ya somehow makes them a jerk, let alone more so.
1 -
I've been trapped for a while by Wraiths, but it's not very common. If they're in a chase and loop around and block a doorway or a pallet or something, that's different. But I think it's cheap to stealth in and block someone in a corner where they can't move for a hit imo. Not saying it's against the rules or anything, but it's a jerk move.
0 -
Also going off of what LordGlint said.
Shape and Ghost Face lose all collision when they stalk so you can't be bodyblock stalked
1 -
Nurse Straight up ignore pallets and windows.
Spirit force survivors to guess where she is while still being capable of tracking them by sound.
Wraith... Kinda move fast while invisible ? But you can still see his shimmer when he get close and his footsteps and distinct clicking breathing noise are very noticeable. He takes a few second to come out of invisibility. He can't really deal with windows at all beyond trying to body block them and can't do anything either if you straight up camp a pallet.
But hey if Blight taught us anything its that fast map movement paired with Undying Ruin is enough to overwhelm most random survivors.

Wraith is annoying in general

Once you know you're against a Wraith, you should really be actively avoiding getting in a corner to begin with. Usually at gens, theres multiple spots that you can work on them. Try to position yourself in a more defensive location so you'll be able to protect yourself if the killer shows up. This is really a good thing to think about for ANY killer really. If your against a Huntress for example, picking a spot where a wall can protect ya from long range hatchets would be wise for example as opposed to a spot next to an open doorway.
Bodyblocking as Wraith to setup for a hit though is pretty basic stuff. Its normal for them to try to get infront of you while cloaked in order to block off your route to a window or something, otherwise the power would be almost useless once a chase actually starts.
0 -
It's always at the beginning of the match in a risky spot. I actively avoid those areas once I know who it is lol
Yeah, that sort of stuff is perfectly reasonable to me. It's something that has some counterplay to it too depending on how he blocks them.
0 -
Could be worse. At least its just 1 smack before ya learn for the rest of the match rather than an instadown or something. Plague can continue bodyblocking even when puking on ya, or ya got Huntress who can do a closerange hatchet+melee to down ya pretty quick if she catches ya in a corner. I dont think I have to explain what would happen if someone like Bubba or Billy catches ya in a corner, lol.
0 -
Thankfully it's only been Wraith and Bubba so far. It explains why I didn't know about the hitbox disappearing since Bubba always does my favorite attack when I'm cornered lmao
0 -
What???
1 -
Any attack that deals dmg causes the hitbox to disappear for abit. As someone else pointed out, Myer's stalking also does the same thing so Myers cant block ya and stalk ya dry.
2 -
That's really helpful to know too. I only recently learned the trick about sliding through the killer after pulling off a pallet stun too. It helped big time one game to save one of my teammates.
0 -
Do some proper punctuation and maybe people would understand more than "I don't like this killer because they are op/boring or unfair play against" wee wee.
1 -
Wraith’s addons are outdated, they definitely need a look at like they did with Huntress.
1 -
The Wraith's biggest flaws are his exceptionally loud breathing and vulnerability to light. He has plenty of counterability, even without taking those weaknesses into account.
He had a minor change by adding a weaker perk to his basekit and there were hardly any concerns back then. Even his "shimmer" being altered (depending on distance) was seen as a better move to make him more viable.
These concerns seem to have come about relatively recently, and I am wondering whether it's more to do with the influx of newer players still getting used to him, rather than anything else.
Also, his add-ons are some of the more creative, and I actually wonder whether other killers could benefit from the same add-on treatment.

I play Spirit and Wraith. Wraith's cloaking and uncloaking makes him weaker than Spirit who has instant reappearance. Coxcombed Clapper or silent bell make it harder but he still has to uncloak. Spine chill and your eyes will help you a good portion of the time.

Idk if this is bait but. Wraith is just straight up male.
