Blight will occasionally prioritze the pallet instead of the survivor after a lethal rush

For some reason, after or even while a survivor is interacting with a pallet, Blight just breaks the pallet instead of hitting the survivor. I don't know how common this is in general but as a survivor i've seen it only 5 times (since may).
The first gif is from today and the first time i've seen this happen was early/mid may (second and third gif).
My ping in all these matches was always around 50 ms.
