Shes so ugly...I REALLY thought you'd see the NUMEROUS complaints about Kate Denson's facial rework and actually change it before release but ofc not...shes so bad now and I have almost all her cosmetics too...now the only way I can even play her is with the greek outfit since it hides her face...can I just refund her :/

She literally looks like an angry 50 year old lol did you not see the MASSIVE backlash in the PTB feedback section when it was first revealed lol. Also, they've done refunds before and now seems like a perfectly fine time or at least compensation considering they completely changed a characters face. I paid for Kate Denson not Gertrude Haginson.

Yes, the PTB section for the PTB. And she has gotten changes since the PTB, which is why I now don't see the issue.

Only one refund has been given out ever to my knowledge, and it was for the Leon and Jill Very Rare skins, which became a set shortly after release (having been released unlinked).

Yes as compensation for buying something that was falsely promised. I bought Kate's cosmetics because I thought I'd get to use them on Kate Denson a happy cheery young country girl. Instead Kate was murdered and her evil step mother Gertrude took her place and now I'm stuck with wasted money, shards, time, and BP :/

This is what you agreed to when you first opened Dead By Daylight. You cannot get a refund for your purchases as outlined in Section 5 of the EULA, and BHVR has the right to change whatever aspect of their product that they like without liability nor the obligation to offer a refund.
Again, read the EULA.

They changed the designs of several characters that people loved and enjoyed for pretty much no reason and despite massive complaints showed no care towards what people wanted lol. Normally I can defend BHVR and their decisions but theres no reason for the survivor model changes to be so drastic and its only fair to those who spent HOURS playing survivors (Especially since survivors are PURELY cosmetic) that we receive something in compensation even if its just shards. Anything to show at least a little bit of "Sorry we screwed you over."

My guy, it's a bunch of pixels and sound files, as much as I understand that you may have preferred d Kate, at the end of the day she's a fictional character in a videogame with very little lore to her name, it isn't as deep as you're making it out to be.

You were licensed the character, spent time with the charcter, and now the character changed. Shockingly enough that's exactly what happens in a live game.

It IS deep when we all spent hours playing and leveling her up specifically for her design which is now completely changed.

EULA's aren't ironclad. The get challenged in court and ruled against all of the time. And recently game companies have been losing and settling lawsuits because they fail to deliver the product they advertise or keep the game in a working state. It honestly wouldn't surprise me to see this happen to BHVR as a result of all the bugs they either can't or won't fix.

For those who like it like you then whatever you get to keep her but for those of us who hate it and got no say in it already we deserve something for compensation. jill has the same issue. like, they went far too dark with the shadows for the nasolabial folds and the nasalis muscle/nostrils.
but it's nothing justifying a refund or saying they ruined something. this is simply a tweak the the facial testuremap

It's like buying a PS4 controller and receiving an xbox controller if you also have an xbox. Sure it'll work on your Xbox but it's not what you ordered or were promised. I noticed they changed her. She was almost identical to how she was in RE3 in fact her DBD model had more detail. So weird they change it.

Even without a refund, I think at least shards should be given out. Kate was changed far too much to a point she looks almost nothing like her old self. She looks like shes aged and become bitter since the divorce.

I'm not sure why you're asking for a refund? You agreed that any aspect of this game can change when you first started playing it. You can be disappointed with the rework, but asking for a refund when you specifically agreed that you wouldn't get one is absurd to me.

After a while this PS4 controller is upgraded to a newer model, which functions but you don't like the change, however the previous models aren't sold anymore. Is it amazing? No. Is it the end of the world and you should demand compensation from Sony? Also no.

naw. it's seriously just a bit of coloring not done too well. She looks fine. You should use this energy advocating to separate headcosmetics from torso/leg cosmetics in linked sets.

The devs literally stated in the update that the goal was for "the updated versions of each Survivor are as similar as possible to ones you know and love". With that being the stated goal, I think criticism is justified given how much Kate's face and expression are changed.
