Myers Stalk Bug

Background info:


I have played DBD for Approx. 800hr.

Most of the play time is from a year ago.

I encountered Myers Stalk bug where you can't stalk at all.

To those who don't play killers it's not that stalk limit / Stalk range / Blocked vision + etc.


In plain sight, stalk doesn't work.

Figured it'd be fixed after a year but didn't get fixed yet when I tried today.


Searched forum and bug report section.

People were still arguing that bug exists or not, and most were just accepting the bug as a feature and telling people to not play Myers.

Well I paid to play him so that doesn't sound like a good solution.


Step 1: Pick Myers

Step 2: Tried multiple Add_on. All of them failed to stalk.

Step 3: Different Perks. Failed to Stalk.


Map : Coldwind & Pit

Frequency of Issue : 100% of time past 5 times I tried.

I have played Myers fine in past times.

It started once and the bug persisted.

A year of break didn't fix the issue.


Hopefully this counts as something to get Myers Fixed.


Just because majority doesn't get this bug, it doesn't mean it shouldn't be fixed for those don't work.

    Check your GameUserSettings.ini if your ScreenScaleForWindowedMode and ScreenResolution are set to =100, if not change it manually and save the file.

    Made an account just to say thank you. I have no idea how my settings got adjusted, but this made Myer's literally unplayable.


    And to all the people out there who replied to similar threads with something to the effect of "its pretty tricky you probably aren't doing it right" go to these settings and put them at 0 instead of 100 and then play Myers and tell me if we were just doing it wrong.
