Survivor stuck on generator

I was Meg; game loaded in the Red Forest; I was inside of a shack and immediately started working on a generator. I noticed that there was no progression happening even as I successfully completed skill checks. I tried to run away but I couldn't move. I was just stuck there. Did skill checks for a few minutes. Generator never completed on my screen. I started missing the checks but my character still remained stuck. I let the skill checks miss for another minute or two and then I got disconnected but had 5000 blood points and lost a rank.
First time happening, not sure if I could reproduce it.
