The new tutorials are greatly improved, but...
They really still should have included the difference between slow, medium, and fast vaults, and the basics of looping for either killer or survivor, and the importance of (as survivor) looping to get your fast vaults, and how to try and get survivors to loop the incorrect direction (as killer) to deny them their fast vaults.
Also the tutorials completely omit explaining the red stain and what it does.

They should still endeavour to make the in game tutorial adequate for new players. Not everyone browses streams and YT.

Tutorials are teaching you the very basics of objectives and interactions, and are probably meant as such. Besides vaulting, there's a lot of other general knowledge missing - statuses, falling down fatigue, killers' powers, perks and so on; and it's perfectly fine.
