Game breaking bug I just found on Xbox and have no idea how it happened

I play on Xbox series x and so I’ve been fine while all the last gen players have been screwed over, but with this update that was supposed to fix last gen consoles instead broke last gen AND new gen. Idk how but while running mid chase on new gen you legit just cant stop running no matter what you press as well as the crouch button being disabled, it’s really infuriating when you’re going against a stealth killer and are forced to sprint across the map constantly and the only way to get rid of exhaustion is by standing still for 40 seconds..
