Jake's tome seems like a retcon...
I've been reading his tome for quite some time now (both leak & official, they are the same anyway) and it kind of annoys me that his character is kind of a retcon to his original storyline.
- His "brother" was accepted to Yale while Jake was still in school, yet he's the older sibling?
- He was told to be surviving in the wild for a long time in his biography and yet he decides to reconcile with his father within a couple of days? maybe even hours?
- We know Jake is ethnically Korean, but his nationality is more in question after his lore. Was he born in America? or was he born in Korea and immigrated there. The story is all over the place that it's hard to conclude.
One of the biggest retconned lore imho.

Not to mention so, so many of his cosmetics tell us he couldn't stand his dad and hated the 'rich heir' life...
Like, c'mon, devs. There's dozens of fanfic authors out there who have been able to tell wonderful stories with the characters that felt 100% InCharacter. how come the official team is so hit or miss (compare Wraith's lore to e.g. Hag's)

This is why I kind of dislike the Tomes; because they retcon already existing lore.

No, not even most of them. Only other rich parent kids (I can think of) are David, Felix, and Elodie [not the only rich survivors, just the ones born rich]

Yeah, I hated what they did with the Nurse with her Tome & backstory. Most I've enjoyed most of em to be honest, but there's a few that are very questionable.

Yeah, the nurse being a nice person who turned insane was way better, Legion retcon was also pretty bad. I didnt like most of them but as long as the tome doesn't contradict existing stuff ill be okay with most of them
