Game not updating on Windows Store

I downloaded the game through the pc game pass app, and up until now have had no problems, but when I went to start it up today its telling me "In order to access this content, a patch is required". I've tried everything aside from reinstalling it because i really dont wanna do that. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?
