Another Potential Weeping Angel Killer
I've checked around the forums a bit for a weeping angel idea for a killer and I found that my idea seems a lot more complete in terms of coding ideas etc on how it can be executed using already in-game mechanics. I hereby submit it to the forums for feedback.
A killer based on weeping angels from Doctor Who.
This killer blends ideas and concepts from the Spirit, Freddie, Ghostface, Legion, and Nurse.
Passive Ability: Quantum Lock
In its most basic state, walking/floating around the map, the killer is visible. In order to effect the entire idea of "quantum locking", a survivor must have their camera faced upon the killer. When a camera is on the killer, the angel sprite is forced into a "husk" a la the Spirit, but the killer is still able to move about the stage, but not able to interact with anything, also a la the Spirit. The husk maintains terror radius. In order to prevent teams of survivors "on watch" for the Angel, one random survivor who is looking at the angel will gain a "blink timer" a la Freddie's microsleeps. The blink timer lasts for X(15?) seconds. That survivor will not be informed of their timer, but the killer is aware of who has a timer. After a time, that survivor will then go into fatigue for X(1?) seconds, a la fatigue timer for Legion or Nurse. While that survivor is going into blink, they are lit up by Killer Instinct, the same way Ghostface is revealed. When the blink timer ends and goes into fatigue, the Angel rematerializes immediately wherever they might be and the husk dissipates. When the Angel materializes, they are immune from quantum-locking for X (15?) Seconds.
As long as the killer is doing actions such as picking up a survivor, walking to a hook, hooking, etc, they cannot be quantum-locked.
Break actions (such as pallets, doors, and generators) are subject to quantum locking.
Angels cannot be quantum locked in the middle of an action. Once the action has been initiated, it must be finished first before being locked.
Special Ability: Loss of Potential
While quantum locked, the special ability of the Angel can be activated. Once activated, all survivors within X distance of the husk gain the exposed status. The "blinker" does not gain exposed status. The exposed status lasts 60 seconds once quantum lock ends.
When the Angel materializes and attacks a survivor, one of the following scenarios occurs:
1. The Angel attacks the blinker. The blinker loses a health state.
2. The Angel attacks an exposed survivor. The exposed survivor is put into dying state. The blinker loses a health state.
3. The Angel attacks any other survivor. That survivor loses a health state.
There is no cool down between uses of Loss of Potential.
Perks
1. Lost Time
When the killer hits a survivor with a basic attack, all tokens for (2/3/4) random perks they have becomes zero.
This perk can only be used every 120/90/60 seconds.
2. You Blinked
When the killer hits a survivor with a basic attack, that survivor gets one perk at random deactivated for 45/90/120 seconds.
3. Quantum Entanglement
For each generator, as they are completed, gain a stackable penalty to current generator repairs (similar to Fire Up, Thanataphobia, or Dying Light).
(So as generators are completed, progression on future generators becomes slower. This also has potential to be applied to opening exit gates).
Add-Ons
Reduces blink timer
Increases quantum immunity time
Your obsession always gains the blink timer
Your obsession is always entangled with any exposed survivor
When any survivor is attacked, they gain blindess for 60s.
