Can we just have increased bloodpoints every weekend?

The grind in this game is stupid long especially when leveling survivors since they gain so little each game. It'd be nice for increased gains on weekends or at least reduce the grind in general all together.

Since they're most likely not going to do anything to reduce the grind, they need to be having blood hunts far more often than they do. At least that would be something to help alleviate the massive time investment.

That does make sense, probably the only way to practice killers you haven't tried yet is in custom games since bot games are still not a thing yet.

Probably good to do it at LEAST on the last week of every month or on the first week of a rank reset as well as the first week of a new chapter because many people who aren't streamers might want to test the new killer/survivors out.

Like seriously having a long game and only gaining 50k bloodpoints from it is so stupid. At least if the grind was halfed I'd understand having a bloodpoint cap.

What's frustrating is that offline bot matches were supposed to come with the mid chapter update per the developer update, but as everyone now knows, it didn't, and there's been no word as to why.

Yeah I've never understood having a blood point cap. Blood points are just going to continue to be accrued and spent repeatedly, so why have a cap?

Especially when the bloodweb is bloated with niche perks now.

Why can't we have like a "Role in need" feature like overwatch or ff14? Play this job that is short in supply and get bonus BP.

Every weekend would never happen. Once a month though would be a good addition.

Absolutely not, think of the bp economy. It would never stabilize with that kind of constant income.

I swear they used to happen monthly. Maybe I'm remembering wrong, but it was pretty often. I miss that. If not every weekend, then at least one weekend a month

Yeah that's still better than waiting for promo codes.

Every weekend might be too much, but one weekend with double BP once a month would be nice.

Especially since they dont give a ######### about grind altogether

I've had this suggestion for quite a while.

Double the BP gain for all actions. For example:

    - breaking pallets: 200 BP (now 100 bp)

    - Stunning the Killer: 2000 BP (now 1000 bp)

And increase the cap from 32k to 64k. That way you'd get double BP every match without making Token based Perks like BBQ basekit.

And also add more score events for Survivors, or make it that every action rewards other Survivors as well (not the full amount but a bit)

    Simple and quick change.

    Interesting name by the way.

    BUT THE ECONOMY!

Seriously though I think maybe one every 2 weeks or a month could be fun. If not then at least delete perk tiers already they're not necessary with this many perks in the game.

IMO Perk Tiers should not be deleted. There are also new players in this game and those will run out of Perks to get pretty quickly. I have calculated it at some points, but both sides would have all Perks unlocked before they even get their 4th Perk Slot.

I would do other things to help with the Grind:

    • Increase value of Category-BP-Offerings-->Brown 100% in the categroy, yellow 150%, green 200% to make them actually worth using
    • Remove Category-Cap, but keep 32k Cap
    • More Perks in each Bloodweb... 1-9 1 Perk, 10-25 2 Perks, one can be picked, 25-39 3 Perks, two can be picked, 40-49, 4 Perks, two can be picked, 50 6 Perks, three can be picked... And on top of that, let players keep their Perks when prestiging, either all of them OR at least Tier 1 OR a selection of Perks by their choice
    • Teachables get unlocked automatically like Perk Slots.. So you dont have to pick them in the Bloodwebs. Small change, but every bit helps.

Those things would already reduce the grind.

    @Topic:

BPs after the Anniversary were really miserable. And they will be miserable again after the Bloodhunt. IMO each weekend should have a 25% BP-multiplier, it will not be compareable to a Bloodhunt or anything, but it is something. And, on top of it, it encourages playing the game.

Like, usually, I finish a Survivor before the next Survivor is released. I finish Killers eventually, but since I dont have them fully levelled (still missing out on 7 Killers currently), I dont level a Killer immediatly when it is released. But, with this Chapter being two Survivors, I am very sure that I would not have finished them before the next Chapter, if there would not have been an Event.

And there will be the point where I will not be able to fully prestige (with all Perks) a new Character AND get their Perks on other Characters, before the next Character is released.

So they really should do something to ease the Grind. I dont have any friends who would be interested in playing the game, however, I dont even know if I would really recommend it. I have fun playing DBD, but if I think about telling them how much time they have to spend to unlock all Perks...

Please! It'd make games a lot less frustrating when they end with under 10k bp.

Survivor can be a very brutal grind depending on how the trials go down.

Yeah I love the suggestion you made for the offerings, since they're one time use and on the first time leveling a survivor you barely enough to use in general. Especially with killers who do well with some offerings and add-ons.

Like the suggestions with the offerings as well, like if the bloodpoint gains won't be addressed at least have offerings buffed because playing killer, despite rewarding more BP requires a lot of BP especially for the addons that get used after each game which make the job of killing less of a landslide with some killers.
