They get a gen before I hook someone, but they use up 5-6 pallets. Is this good?

    Depends on the safety of the pallets used and whether you broke them. Did they get the stun? Did they have smash hit? These are all questions that need to be answered first.

    It mostly depends on the map, most farm maps only have 10-12 pallets so half of their resources would leave them struggling the rest of the match

    but if it was a map like hawkins that could just be a lot of unsafe pallets or the game could just be a drop in the bucket on the safe pallets they have to use

    Depends.

    If this happens on Hawkins, they still have around 300 unsafe Pallets left.

    If this happens on Shelter Woods, there are no Pallets left.

    So, yeah. Depends on the Map and the safety of those Pallets. If those were safe Pallets, getting rid of 5-6 is worth losing a Gen.

    There is actually only 10 pallets on each map that has been reworked. You can test it for yourself by using Windows Of Opportunity or Zenshin Tactics perks. That means they only have 4-5 pallets left to use for the rest of the match so yes. That is good.

    If you're able to create a dead zone then able to pressure survivors into that dead zone or if those pallets are within a 3 gen then yeah I'd say it's worth it.

    I can keep a killer busy for quite some time without using any pallets. I don't think using pallets or not is necessarily a measure that should matter.
