Were flashlights shadow buffed?

Lately while playing killer, survivors have been able to get dubious flashlight saves. If I am facing a wall while picking someone up, survivors can get a blind from behind. It seems to be much worse these days. Awhile back, facing a wall was a safe counter, but not so these days.

    I keep getting blinded but don't drop the survivor. Even got my first ever perfectly timed flashlight save got the blind score event and he just couple secs later hooked them anyhow. So my pov says nerfed.

    I've seen survivors get away with weird flashlight saves even when I'm looking at a wall

    yup I feel like that too, someone got a save on me and I didnt even saw the guy who blinded me. Guess you now have also eyes on your back of the head.

    You sure you weren't slightly too early? I got a save yesterday so they seem normal to me

    I thought something had changed.

    I got blinded by a very quick beam as I chased the survivor. Managed to kill the little twerp during EGC.
