Survivor Chapter: Haunting Memory
Since the dawn of time, mankind has harbored fear and superstition, leaping at the shadows and seeing monsters in the corner of the eye. But sometimes, the monsters we should fear are the ones within ourselves. No man knows the fear of the self more than Shiro Yamaoka, a beaten Japanese salary man would lose all which he held dear to the demon inside him.
Ever since childhood, Shiro struggled with a short temper. Indeed, there was hardly a memory he had that wasn't accompanied by lingering fury. There were few who he considered close, even more still who avoided him altogether. But there was one person who broke that mold, the woman who would one day become his wife, and provide him with the means to push back the growing evil that was rotting him from the inside. She would provide him with a daughter, Rin, who would become the angel beckoning him away from emotional darkness.
Shiro's would live his life from the day she was born, solely for the purpose of providing her with everything she and his wife could need. His rage subsided, sour flames snuffed out by the light of love, and life truly began for him. Truly, it seemed he had been freed of the Yamaoka Curse, at least, that was, until his beloved wife fell ill. The sicker she got, the stronger the anger he had once had seemed to throb in his chest. Slowly, that black mass of hatred returned. He tried to drown it out, losing himself in his work, and as a result, he drifted apart from his child. Rin was left with a cold and distant father, and a slowly dying mother. Overtime, the hatred led to sleepless nights, the sleepless nights to paranoia, to voices in his head. When his company betrayed him, the voices turned to screaming.
"YOU ARE PATHETIC! LOOK AT YOU! YOU ARE A YAMAOKA! SAMURAI! REDUCED TO THIS?! MAKE THEM PAY! LET NO ONE STOP YAMAOKA'S WRATH!"
The words would not stop pounding in his ears until, to his shock and dismay, he was standing over the mangled, shattered corpse of his daughter Rin. Clutched in his hands, the broken katana of Renjiro Yamaoka, still soaked in her blood. His wife, in pieces in the corner. Shiro dropped his blade and fell to his knees, and not even the cold fog that had rolled into the house around him could halt his desperate cries and curses. As tears pooled upon the cold dirt, he finally stood, taking in his new surroundings. This looked like home, but it felt like something else. Something wrong. That's when he saw her. Rin stood in the hallway, watching him, a pale, near naked corpse with disembodied limbs floating at her side. The mixed expressions of fear, of sadness, that made her face twitch endlessly pained him more sharply then her blade ever could, even as she ran him through with it.
Blood exploded from his shoulder, and he wailed out in pain, but it didn't stop there. The blood continued to fountain from his right, a torrent of crimson that should have left him dead from bloodloss. When it finally ended, he was no longer alone with his daughter's vengeful ghost. Standing between them was a new creature, as large and as strong as Kazan yamaoka, yet wearing Shiro's clothes. The rage that had been with him since birth was now gone completely because it was here, now, standing before him. In this new realm, Shiro made up his mind. Something had chosen to keep him alive, to test him over and over in grotesque trials, but he would not waste this chance. Shiro Yamaoka was born again, and he would, by any means necessary, atone for the sins of his past.
The new Survivor is Shiro Yamaoka
Difficulty: Intermediate
A Survivor who has tasted the bloodlust of Killers. His perks, Atonement, Cursed Blood, and Shared Bloodlust allow him to benefit from the Killer's actions, while sacrificing his own wellbeing for the success of his team.
PERKS
Atonement
Each time a Survivor is placed hooked, Atonement will gain a token for a maximum of 3. For each token held, healing and mending actions performed on other survivors are permanently increased by 10/15/20%, however, all tokens are lost upon being hooked yourself.

Cursed Blood
The curse of your heritage is potent, bending and corrupting the rules of the entity's realm when spilled.
When injured, you no longer leave scratch marks. Instead, you leave omly pools of blood and are always effected by the Hemorrhage status effect until healed. The bloodstains you leave appear visibly brighter to both the Killer and yourself until fading.
Shared Bloodlust
As a monster who has tasted the blood of a victim yourself, you empathize with the driving urges of the Killer.
Each time the Killer enters a tier of bloodlust, you will see their Aura for 6 seconds. Furthermore, if another Survivor is in a chase, their aura is revealed to you for 3 seconds every 5/7/10 seconds.
When Shiro and his Yamaoka Fury were seperated by Rin's strike, it became its own being, and now prowls the Entity's realm
This chapter would introduce a new cosmetic set that transform's the Oni into the Nioh.
