So I'm wondering this about the cosmetics

So the cosmetics are I know cosmetics so they don't affect the actual game but I always wondered, did any actual killer wear that stuff during their lifetime like Evans mining gear and doctors suit?

Devs said that ingame cosmetics aren't canon, but they wore some of the outfits in the real world.

As far as I know the only cosmetics characters canonically wear in The Entity's realm are their default and Hallowed Blight cosmetics (and possibly the prestige cosmetics, as those are just blood-covered versions of the default cosmetic). Most of the other cosmetics are things that character wore in their time before being taken into The Entity's realm.

I think you have to go by each cosmetic and see if it’s reasonable. Recolles dont seem canon. Most epic pieces are from the character’s actual life, like Oni’s winter set; its from when he went to a festival. However the epic piece thats called Cursed Fate wouldn’t be canon since he was never actually an Oni when he was alive
