Seriously i cant fathom how you guys can be this tonedeaf and just keep ignoring the community completely,

Why is it so hard to listen to what your fans want and actually giving some kind of effort to work with your playerbase?

While you (the devs for console and pc) gives us this

forcing players to play a horribly unbalanced map which you have refused to balance since your map rework for several days,, the mobile devs actually cares and gives us this

some nice way to earn some extra bloodpoints and xp while still giving some attention and celebration towards the franchise without completely shitting on one side of the playerbase (or anyone that dislikes indoor maps)

Why cant you take a example from the mobile dev team and actually give some effort.

Triple? Wow. Nice. And that’s pretty cool how they made it character specific in relation to the SAW theme. Yea, mobile definitely did it better. Killers don’t care for the game because of all the pallets and the two god pallets downstairs. And survivors don’t care for it because it has all the nuances of an indoor map (two floors, good totem placement, harder to find gens, misleading terror radius, etc.).

Well admittedly I do feel that's a better way to promote certain characters and events - Bonuses for playing certain characters.

it's funny. i've actually avoided that map pretty well i'd say. Probably got it once so far. usual rate imo. might just be lucky. Oh and mobile getting 3x and it incentivizes ppl to play those characters during THEIR event? I would be playing the hell out of pig if that was on PC rn..

This week is like the first time I used map offerings in a long while. Going 3 times in a row to this ######### map was my limit.

Not to mention the "sale" is barely a sale at all. By buying a set/character you're saving around 100 Auric Cells. I'd rather take the double BP or XP.

I highly doubt this was the devs idea, probably upper BHVR management (which also goes to the "sale"). Speaking as a engineer, devs don't really usually have a say in any of these types of things.

That being said, I hate the map as both killer and survivor. Luckily a lot of my matches haven't been on the game without map offerings, so for that I'm thankful. I avoid them in the bloodweb unless forced anyways so I don't really have any in the first place, meh

This map is horrible for killer you have 30 pallet to break before you can start hitting the survivor

Just because BHVR doesn't listen to you doesn't mean they don't listen to the community. I can think of several times they have listened to the community. The DC Penalty is a good example. Much of the community wanted it back and for good reason and they listened.

As for that map overall it isn't that unbalanced. As with all the maps some killers will have it easier on that map then others.

A lot of people also conflate "listening to" with "doing exactly what people want, no matter what it is". The devs are humans, capable of independent thought. They can listen and disagree, like anyone else.

That's just made me realise some of the people in this community.

Nah. The devs are controlled by upper management who are controlled by the investors, thats how the business of "gaming" works. If dbd would start to lose money you would see heads roll and people getting moved out of positions. It's not about being "capable of independent thought", its about money plain and simple.

A lot of the community wanted the penalty to stay off because their game still can't tell the difference between a crash and a DC.

And it sucks for survivors because it's hard to find gens, so the game is automatically slowed down. I have 1500 hours in the game and I still struggle to find gens. Think of what it's like for newer survivors. That's why I don't think it's horribly unbalanced.

You desperately wanted characters' appearance to change? Pretty weird priority, and sucks for those of us who mained characters and now they look worse.

It's not hard to find gens. You see one of the sliding doors and boom gen is easily found

Seriously? This map is terrible it's the one map rework that didn't need breakable walls at all

Not desperately, I would rather balance changes or bugfixes but improving how characters look besides maybe Dwight and Jill, who is bugged, is something I gladly welcome. Y'all say the quality and appareance went to ######### when characters just don't look as if they were taken out of a dark niche animation B tier TV show. Nea before and after is an example of it, even if I hate the fact that they dolled her up so much, which was completely unnecesary, still feels like a big improvement.

Love mobile. Just wish I could spend the bloodpoints more quickly. Takes me 45 minutes to spend the million, so I’m generally hovering around the cap trying to spend just enough to let me play another match without being denied my earnings!

Personally I can't get past the controls for mobile, but I love everything that the mobile devs do for their game. Not only are the events and rewards far more satisfying, but they actually have a mode with bots. We were supposed to get one with the mid chapter update, but not only did that not come to fruition, but BHVR hasn't said a single word as to why.

I doubt the actual devs read anything on this forum. They only see what the moderators they pay tell them.

The Game used to be one of my fav maps. Even as Survivor I liked it a fair bit with how intense and hard games could be. Was a nice challenge. The rework with a fuckton of pallet after pallet just sucked out the fun. It was like whiplash when og maps used to have combos of safe pallets.

The mobile game/team doing a Bloodpoint event based around the Saw characters is super smart and just invites people to be more chill. Main DBD needs more chill vibes imo

Oh we know they can disagree alright. Billy's update was clear evidence of that.

I guess it's such a big tragedy you have to play on the one map in the entire game with some decent pallets. It shouldn't matter because literally any other map has extremely short, stupidly unsafe pallets.

Body is 1 character too short.

The devs completely ruined The Game, and now they want to send everyone there...This is pathetic.

Meanwhile, lots of things which should get some attention are being ignored, and as usual our voice means nothing. Billy is one of the best examples of that.

It's not horribly unbalanced, there's rooms that get in the way of getting to objectives.

    Totems are usually well hidden.

Uncertainty if the killer is on the same floor as you.

There is the two god pallets but that's mostly it.

The rest is just bad breakaway loops.
