Not having fun as a killer anymore
I`m not having fun anymore playing killer, everytime I see those flash clicks I go mad and ignore that player and go for someone else. I`m rank 1 as a killer and some games are ok 2-3k maybe 4, but some games are so fast that I can`t have fun even with kills. I chase some dude and if I see that he is a tryhard I give up and go for someone else. The thing is you don`t have to be a god at survivor, just run every pallet/window that you see, loop the killer if you can and that is like 2-3 gens if the killer doesn`t give up the chase. I`m just wondering why are those "god pallets" and loops in the game at all ???? I play killer to smack some survivors not to break pallets, jump over windows, and do circles around some shack until I get dizzy.
Idk, maybe the game is fine the way it is and the devs can`t really do anything to change it. I believe the game was supposed to be a horror game but it`s not.
It`s very funny because if a new player checks the trailer when the game starts he gets the wrong idea of the game. I have matches as a survivor where I don`t even see the killer until the final gen is up, because if a good survivor wants he can keep the killer with him until the other 3 guys finish the gens but that also depends if the killer is that salty and wants that guy dead.
I`m not the first one with a post like this but clearly not the last one.

"I have matches as a survivor where I don`t even see the killer until the final gen is up"
Yep very true. I'd like to see new game modes and something to mix it up, rather than just continuing adding Killers and perks which usually don't change the game in any groundbreaking way. But the last few updates don't make me think that is going to be the case.

Killer is actually the more difficult role in this game. People enter into DbD thinking that the survivor role will be difficult because you have this big, powerful, oppressive killer chasing you, but at the core of it all, it really comes down to 4 players vs 1.
The killer has a lot more to worry about and really can’t play casually if they care about winning. Which I think is fine, for the most part. The problems arise when the game puts you up against players who are obviously out of your league. It also doesn’t help that maps really aren’t balanced fairly for each side. Some just swing too much in the other sides favor, such as Pallet City Meat Plane and HadNoFun for survivors and Midwich for killers.
It doesn’t help much that the Devs are slow to bring up the weaker killers to be more inline with today’s “split up and rush gens” meta. Nor does it help that the matchmaking in this game is the worst I’ve ever seen and it’s obvious that the Devs either don’t know what the solution is or can’t figure one out due to how difficult it is to gauge someone’s skill in this game.
My advice to you is to just stop playing killer if it’s stressing you out. People play video games for fun. Switch to survivor which is its own form of fun. Meme around a bit. Now that Meg has a piggy mask, I’m venturing away from my Claudette in order to get teammates ,and sometimes the killer, to Boop my Snoot.
Unless you’re really good at killer, it’s best played in small bursts. Or you can just select Nurse and play her until you have her blinks memorized into your muscle memory and can handle the constant fatigue. You can always play Spirit (she’s not as easy as people make her out to be, but she is very strong if you’re somewhat capable).

I remember when I first saw Dbd i was so fascinated by its gameplay thinking id be this terrifying emersive experience. Then you get in and its a squad of Dwight's t-baging and moonwalking while shooting confetti out of there flashlights.

The advice is usually the same. Play enough solo survivors at red ranks and you'll soon enough find new enthusiasm to play killer again.
I play killer to smack some survivors not to break pallets, jump over windows, and do circles around some shack until I get dizzy.
Well, this is the game we got. What do you even expect them to do? To just stand still so they're less inconvenient for you to clobber them?
Idk, maybe the game is fine the way it is and the devs can`t really do anything to change it. I believe the game was supposed to be a horror game but it`s not.
What it was supposed to be is a moot point. The game is successful because it's the way it is.

Killer hasn't been fun for 5 years where have you been? Lol

Tbh I don't have fun as killer even when I win. I like the team aspect more as Survivor. It feels like you have more to lose as survivor.

I'm assuming you are a newer player, or are you not? Because if you are, then my friend, I'm here to tell you all of us who got to rank 1 for the first time felt like you. You see most of us before reaching red rank were used to incompetent survivors, who did not know how to loop. And were scared to do the basic of the game such as touching a gen. But after reaching red rank for the first time, It basically becomes a new game. But all I can say is that you have to come in with a open mind, you have to accept that you won't always get 4 sacrifices. As a matter of fact you may only get 1 or 2 hooks in some games. It's just how all games works you win sometimes, and lose sometimes.

I mean you're bothered by them doing their objective too fast but in same time you said you get 3-4k kills most of time so what is it? They're doing their objective just like ur doing yours and game don't need to be slowed down because of it 4k was never and never will be a balance
