Devs you need to do something about the META
I'm so tired of facing Blight with Undying Ruin at red ranks. Literally almost every game is a Blight. Buff the weaker killers and nerf the meta killers, seriously. There is ZERO variety at red ranks and I understand why, but this needs to be addressed. It is literally making me want to main killer, instead of being a 50/50 player. There is NOTHING fun about facing the same killers, strats and perks every game. Nerf EVERY meta thing on both sides and buff everything else for all I care, but something needs to be done.

I agree but survivor meta is not fun neither, 4 survivors swf with dh bt ds ub is stronger than a ruin und blight which can lose 2 perks in 1m if bad totem spawns

This is an exaggeration.
I forgot the last time I went against a SWF with these builds, not to mention, all 4 of them using it....
On the other hand, Blights running nothing but Ruin + Undying + Tinkrer + BBQ / Other perk is very very common at red ranks.

Then that's on you. On the worst day, I am having sweaty SWF on 7 out of 10 games. On the best of days, it's only 2 out of 10.

If the devs just nerf meta things all that would happen is people move on to the next thing.
It's not a fault of the game, the strongest things will always be used more than the weaker things at ranks where people are trying to win.

I play red rank killer and go on regular 10+ 4k streaks. I usually defend the killer role, but red rank killer is a joke to play unless you actually face a good team. While red rank solo survivor is a terrible struggle 8 out of 10 games. I can admit it is partly due to teammates, but a good portion of the problem comes from high tier high mobility killers with perks that solo players just can't deal with. Not to mention pretty much every red rank killer that uses Undying, Ruin, Tinkerer and PGTW all "sweat" super hard, even if they down people with 10 second chases.

Yeah. That is why you shift the meta. This meta has been the same for far too long. All the killers that were weak years ago are still weak. All the strong perks from years ago are still strong.

Even if you shift the meta, people will just complain about the new meta. I've seen it in other games. No one will ever be happy against whatever is deemed the strongest strategy.

Ehh... I'd rather buff the weaker killers without nerfing the meta killers. To compensate, nerf the meta perks on both sides, give survivors a scroll wheel communication system, and slow the gens down a bit (or just fix spawns).

The dev dont do enpigh patch for us to get a evolving meta. Imagine if we could have new buff and nerf for every rank reset so the meta is always evolving how much better this game could be

OP this is almost impossible to fix at the moment. You can't just nerf the meta, you'll still see only blights/spirits/nurses at high skill games and the reason for this is just math. Standard M1 killers against good survivors just can't compete when at the start of a game with 4 survivors you start chasing 1 and the other 3 instantly hop on gens. What happens next? Describe to me in seconds how long it takes to get hit #1 and hit#2 and a down on the first chase. I promise you vs a good group of survivors it will probably be at least 40-50 seconds. Three gens to one hook. The game is extremely lopsided in the survivors favor from that point on and if the killer doesn't camp/tunnel the games usually end with 4 escapes and 5-7 hooks. The mobility killers are the only ones who can slightly deal with this thanks to their travel time being drastically reduced.
So how do you fix this? You can't, at least not in an obvious way.
Increasing gen times? Unless you drastically increase the gen times it does nothing in the above scenario. Adding ten seconds won't stop 3 gens from popping on the first chase. This is also incredibly boring for the survivors.
Reduce resources? Unskilled players would be absolutely slaughtered if you did this
Reduce map sizes? Maybe, but every map being Dead Dawg size sounds pretty bland and terrible too
Increase killer speeds across the board? Maybe, but this has some pretty big implications and removes even more interactivity on the survivors side
Give every killer a mobility aspect? Maybe, but pretty boring that everyone can zoom across the map.
My entire rambling point can be summed up as "even if you delete meta perks on the killer side, it will just be replaced by the next best thing. You'll still see the exact same killers without much variety".

I would like to see the real stats for killer pick rates at red ranks. As far as I can tell the whole "it's only Nurse, Spirit, and Blight at red ranks" is nothing but an exaggeration. I don't notice those 3 any more or less than I have at any other rank. I'd say I face more Wraiths, Deathslingers, Nemeses, and Bubbas by far than Nurse, Spirit, or Blight.

Well here is the thing. High skill games at red ranks with cross-play on are probably 1 in 50 games. I understand that the game is survivor sided at high skill level, but 99% of the games played are not with high skill survivors. Killer is a joke at red ranks until you meet a decent team. So in the meantime, solo survivor has to suffer due to the slim chance a killer might get a high skill team. Also I have played killer vs actual good teams many times, I know how it feels. That doesn't mean I discount how terrible solo survivor is due to the current meta.

I literally just went against another Undying Ruin Blight my last game. The Blight tunneled out a Claudette when there was 3 gens left and they still had Undying and Ruin up.
