playing a bot match unequips everything on the played character

i know there was a known issue like this before where everything on every character got unequipped, but since that has been addressed in a bugfix patch before and the issue is still at hand (on a much smaller scale though), i feel like its right to treat this as a new bug?
anyway, you still lose your entire loadout when you play a bot match on the character you played it as.
(affected characters are Dwight and Trapper, since they are the only playable ones in a bot match)
