Old Freddy

I find that current Freddy is extremely boring and his power has little relation to the movies. the old power gave Freddy an interesting playstyle and actually felt like i was The Freddy Kruger. I wish they would revert his rework but keep his gen teleport but its merely my opinion.

    People like New Freddy because he is very easy to play, and he's likely making BHVR a lot of money. Reverting the rework isn't something they'd do.

    What I'd like to see is the inclusion of an add-on, or offering exclusive to Freddy, that reverts him to a version of Old Freddy with a couple changes like Incapacitated during the Dream Transition. It wouldn't be mandatory to use or force anyone to stop playing New Freddy, but it would allow us people who enjoyed Old Freddy's power to use our killer again. They clearly still have the assets from Old Freddy - look at his most recent update, they've reimplemented the rippling hit effect that used to happen when you tried to hit a guy who you hadn't pulled into the Dream World, and now it plays when you hit somebody immune to sleep.

    Freddy already has add-ons that change his power with the pallet ones - surely changing the Kid's Drawing or giving him back Smoking Splinters that revert his power isn't that far of a reach?

    I dunno man. Every time I played against old Freddy I'd run around with my head on my shoulder for a few seconds then fall asleep.

    I'd be down for an old school add on too though. Currently at the start of the match you instantly know you're facing Freddy and it removes a lot of tension. There's a lot they could do with Freddy now that I think about it.

    I would like, if one day we see him again, that he combines his old power with the teleportation of motors, I would say, I say, setting dream traps is totally ridiculous and mediocre, dream pallets are more effective with Freddy. Let the survivor sleep again and be able to see auras in his dimension.

    i know right! i miss old freddy because he actually took loads of skill but was trash.

    im surprised they didnt do any serious tweaks to old freddy like increase the range to pull the survivor into the dream state or decrease the time it takes for survivors to fall asleep with obvious reworks of the block addons.

    Reject Modern Freddy. Return to Old Freddy.
