Monitor and abuse is crazy good on him, nurse's calling/sloppy butcher, while strong on everyone, is good on him especially for planning quicksnipes around corners or through corn. BBQ is great for keeping yourself in chases.

Best addons you can run are double reload speed. Remember, the survivor can't loop you if its ALWAYS tied to you by a chain.

Save the Best for Last is very good on Slinger. You can hit somebody, quickly wipe your weapon, and then follow up with an ADS and shoot the survivor.

If you’re learning him and have trouble landing shots go with missed shots cool Down addons with reload speed addons

My favorite build is BBQ, Save the Best for Last, Nurse's Calling and Corrupt Intervention.

BBQ tracking is nice but not that good on a killer with no mobility. I use it mostly for points, feel free to swap it for Monitor and Abuse, Sloppy Butcher or Surge which synergyze better with his power.

Save the Best for Last is insane on Deathslinger. Hitting speared survivors count as a M1 to gain stacks, and you can break the chain on the obsession to injure without losing stacks. If you have 8 stacks and reload addons you can almost instadown a survivor with how fast you can M1 + shot or shot + shot.

Nurse's Calling is also another one that synergyzes very well with his power. He has a 24m TR that has a very slow build up, so you can easily get a sneaky shot on survivors who think they are safe while healing with the 28m range.

Corrupt Intervention is almost a necessity to deal with bad map design and bad spawns while not losing gens before you're even able to traverse the map. You can use Pop or Ruin instead but good luck if you spawn on Mother's Dwelling.

Deathslinger kind of has 2 playstyles that both work quite well. I personally slightly prefer the 2nd.

    1. Ranged Stealth Killer. Perks: Monitor, StBFL, Nurses, BBQ, maybe Corrupt. The idea is Monitor drops your TR lower than your gun's range so you can show up and instantly shoot, fast wipe, fast reload, shoot again before the Survivor can do much.
    2. Ranged Legion. Perks: Sloppy Butcher, As many mid chase info perks as you can get. Discordance, Tinkerer, Deathbound, Nurses, maybe even Hex: Thrill of the hunt and Hex: Retribution. The idea is that if you shoot and stab someone with Sloppy and leave them be... they're going to spend a lot of time mending and healing up. But you don't have the info you need to know where to go after you break chase... so... 3 mid chase info perks.
