A simple question for survivor mains (mainly who r <1000 hrs)
I can't understand. Who instilled into u that tunnel is bad? There wasn't even such an expression in 2016. There was only about camp and actually about camp in the face, coz there was no counterplay in these times.
But who invented the tunnel expression and forced everybody to whine at it? Like r u serious? U blaming the killer for ur faults? It also causes a tremendous facepalm when I haven't even found the new victim, haven't even go far away and u do an unsafe unhooking. U just make me return to the hook by this action. To the hook, where two survivors usually stealth or healing. Seems like the Shift button was meant for fools.
Why do u unhook in a front of my face? Why do u sell your teammate? I can catch him quite swiftly. Where's the counterplay? Wait till I leave and do the safe saving? Take Borrowed, DS if u like screwing this part?
Are u hooked inside the generator triangle? So, it's ur fault u repaired this way. Try to run out and hide if you don't wanna be downed again? Or study to loop the killer and win some time for your team? Nah, let's whine about the non-existed camp and tunnel.
Perhaps I just found you after some time passed and started to chase you? Well, I have more benefits to do this coz u r going to die faster and I'm gonna get a kill which makes the gen controlling easier. What's the problem?
One more hilarious situation. I'm returning to the hook, turning to the corner, and survivor just running into my face and gets tunneled by himself)))
The conclusion is simple. Survivors are played by campers and tunnelers, who make me do this stuff.
L2P, git gud and have a brain. It's the only game ever when one side wants the other side to play weaker and succumb. Why did this even happen to dbd?
I've written about hours not in vain because raging, insulting, and crying are predominantly newbies' things. When will all of this end?

Tunneling to me is a killer focusing only on one surv and disregarding all else. Like in chase passing & ignoring two or three gens being actively worked on kinda focus. As for tunneling off the hook, it's more up to smarter unhooking timing or the resquerer defending the unhookee better.
Focusing on one surv with five gens still to go is borderline to me, as I see the killer's side of how much getting it down to three alive quickly benefits them. But much like face camping it just absolutely sucks for the one on the hook.

I probably have 3k hours in survivor, and it isn't that tunneling is bad, it is just frustrating to be on the receiving end of it. It's not fun to sit and wait on a hook, wondering if anyone will come for the rescue, only for someone to get to me right before I get to second stage or even reach second stage, only to get put back on the hook 5 seconds later.
I don't judge or complain about the killer though, since I understand that it really is the best way to pressure gens. I suggest you just ignore everyone else who cries or attack killers for using it, they're just mad that they didn't have their way.

That's the point. I can call it tunneling in the situation when my goal is to kill someone (maybe streamer or toxic player) and don't care about the game. The meaning of the "tunneling" word actually like that.
Another thing is when I find the survivor who was already hooked and chase him. It's a logical decision. But baby survs are butthurting for somewhat and writing some nonsenses in the post-game chat and steam profile =/

There is a useless camp in the face with Bubba or smth similar and camp when the situation is convenient. 3 gens nearby, survivor is inside this triangle. I see nobody repairs and I control the gens and the hook. Gain the tears in the chat and profile. But it's you gave me such a comfortable conditions by your own, lmfao.
Bruh.
