How the MMR/SBMM works specifically?
I have a specific question, how the SBMM works?
There's no explanation from someone in the DBD team what information the MMR takes to go higher or lower in ELO.

That's on purpose. The devs don't want people influencing their MMR.

I think they intentionally obfuscate that information so people don't abuse the system to farm higher or lower MMR. But it will get datamined in some way or another I have no doubt.

My bet is it will be BASED on the chasing factor.
Surv : you can loop the killer for long, you loose the killer a lot ? Here take your points and climb.
Killer : You hit a survivor quickly, and down them in no time, here climb up.
Also depending on which killer is played (point multiplier), and confronted to general statistics acquired for that killer.
Can't wait to see what those prerequisite are about. Hiding this information, and the actual rank of players doesnt make sense.
"Feel the match" is not an argument, for a game that claims to be competitive, we need those informations. If bhvr want people to not take ranks in consideration, just separate Ranked mode and Normal games.
I don't know, to me, something is off with that whole system being implemented in dbd, but thats just an opinion.

I guess if you play in soloQ - you are pretty much screwed to remain in ELO hell forever. If you didn't double pip every game for the last two months - the system will match you with potatoes and against sweatiest hard tunneling killers there are. I think I'll have to quit playing survivor altogether after all and resort to facecamping bubba, because I'm tired of getting farmed right at the killer's face.
