Stop Whining About SBMM
Matchmaking was trash before, and now its still trash. The bar has effectively stayed in the same place, THUS nothing has changed. Except now, all visual indications of how trash it is and was, have been removed. THUS....you're in the same game you were in last month....no reason to complain if nothing changed right? Right?

Before getting a bad match was a matter of luck: sometimes you get good teammates, sometimes you get potatoes, sometimes you get tryhard killers, sometimes you get potato killer. Now I seem to only get potato teammates and sweat lords of killers. So yeah, one could say it's become even worse than it was before.

Nothing being done is absolutely a reason to complain.

Have you conciddert the posibility that you are a potato survivor getting matched with other potato survivors and the killers seem like sweat lords cause there is nobody carying you right now.
And the more games you lose the more it will give you potato killers to better match you.
Not trying to be accusing just throwing that possibility out there

Idk It's been alright for me. No games so far have been destruction on either side. It's usually ended up in 1/2/3 kills but never 0 or 4.

well as a survivors with almost 5k hours in game i dont find it fun when the new mmr put me in the match agains new killers

Skill-Based Match Making. The idea is to attribute a number to your skill level, based on several parameters, then use that to match you with players of similar skill. It's meant to be a more comprehensive ranking system than what we have now, but some people are heavily against being matched with players of similar skill, for various reasons.

Being matched with players of similar skill is not the issue, the problem is their new SBMM is not working as intended. People are NOT matched with equal teammates and against equal opponents, and this is why everyone is complaining about it.

Oh nice, well if this is working as intended then this is a wonderful change! I always prefer matches that are more fair but also excited because they seem similar skill level.
I hope it eventually figures itself out.

Yes it is, based on the complaints I've seen that they'll only be matched with the very best of the best. They're severely overestimating their own ability, but the fact is they're complaining about being matched with people of (what they believe to be) similar skill level.

The issue is there are a bunch of people who regurgitate what some streamers have been saying about MMR, without realising that they aren’t in the same tier as the streamers and therefore won’t be affected in the same way. The vast majority of people will not be in constant sweat-fests because they simply aren’t good enough at the game to be placed that high. However, they log in to play a couple matches, have the usual DBD experience with camping and teabagging whilst MMR is working out where to place them, and they conclude that the streamers must be correct.
