SBMM Vent thread

Just a simple thread to vent all your SBMM related injustices and rageful frustrations. I'll go first.


Just got a match a few minutes ago, playing as huntress for the first time in almost 6 months(?) and it was horrendous. incredibly coordinated SWF, gens popping left and right, tons of teabags and flashlight clicks, all around a party of total sweaty jerkbags. After the match ended, they each left a hate comment on my profile. It was super cruel. SBMM belives me, somebody who has not played huntress in half a year, is ready to go against a full sweat squad bringing their strongest stuff on comms. I was not happy.


edit: this is a vent thread, not a comment on my personal statement thread. I am aware killers do not start at an abitrary 0 "Skill rating." Please be topical.

    You probably dont have a rating on Huntress, so it took the Rating of your other Killers.

    Killer ranks seem to be individual to each killer. If you don't play/haven't played a killer, it should place you near or around the ones you do play.

    If you play a killer you never play it doesn't start you from 0. It's not as high as your highest ranks but it still doesn't put you against new survivors.

    Only tried it on survivor so far (solo queue only) since yesterday.

    Every game is the same. Its either hardcore camping and tunneling, survs suiciding on hook or straight up DCing cause of the first 2 things so either the game ends with 4-5 gens left OR the killer gets one kill and 3 people escape when my team actually does gens. The outcome is the same minimal BPs for both sides and depips every game.

    Then more often than not I get matched with 3 medicore survs against a VERY good killer (god Nurses, Blights and Spirits with full meta perks) and again its a stomping where everyone dies at 4-5 gens left cause people just go down like flies (and most likely are gonna suicide on hook or DC)

    So far my experience with SBMM has been horrendous - on survivor side at least. I am gonna try killer later.

    Exactly this for me. It's like 10ish games with Survivors seem new abd don't know how to play against a pretty good Killer, and one game between the 10ish with a nice team and a Killer who doesn't seem to have 6k more hours than me (but still competent).
