Red Obsession
I had a game where I was the obsession and the spider leg markers were red.
What does it mean when they're red? I didn't remember to check if the killer had Rancor, so I'm not sure if that's it.
Also at some matches there is a sound at the very start that sounds similar to when you put down an item. What does that mean? That the killer has Franklin's? Corrupt Intervention?

The sound that you sometimes hear at the very beginning of the match indicates that you are obsession, sound cue appears earlier than its sign on the hood.
Not sure about red obseasion marks. It used to appear this way when the obsession was dead, either it's changed or broken right now.

Regarding that sound, here is the latest https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1128414394 (it starts about 2min in) where there is that sound and I'm not the obsession. (don't jusge me, I wanted the extra 500BP from any means necessary in the end)
It happened again, but I forgot to capture it, here it's not me, but still red when the obsession is still alive.

I've listened to it and I got no idea, sorry. It feels like I've heard it before, but I'm not sure what it is attributed to.
Red obsession claws happen every once in a while, I couldn't figure out a pattern there. I've tested OoO and that's not it.

At the beginning of the game you can see the names turn from red to white. I'm guessing it's a bug that affects the obsession color icon.
I don't know about the sound effect at the start, maybe it's new?
