DBD could use new game modes.
Can't say my ideas for a new mode would be interesting enough but one I had in mind are killer themed, Hide and seek with Michael Meyers, the goal is to survive before the time limit expires however the map is twice as large and you get caught once he grabs you and performs his tombstone mori basically.
Or a zombie mode with Nemesis, the goal is not get infected before the timer expires, only thing is infected survivors turn to zombies and have to help the tyrant out, vaccines exist but are limited and survivors can use vaccines to save their friends etc etc.
What game modes do you feel will benefit the game?

I would love to see 2 killers vs 8 survivors, it would be kinda survivor sided imo, but it would be fun as hell.
I'd like to see a game mode with a different objective than doing gens
For example: Survivors need to find items in chests, which will be used to open the gate. Both of the gates will have different locks.
Key card, a wire that needs to be cut etc.
Every item will be twice on the map, to avoid trolling.

Yeah different game modes would be nice. Have the devs ever spoke about adding them?

Not too sure they have honestly.

I'd honestly would want a simple survival mode.
No gens, just loops, pallets, lockers, chests, and hooks. After x amount of time the doors get powered or opens automatically. Maybe more chest spawns, maybe more time on hook? Doesn't have to be fancy. Maybe even throw in a 2nd killer so your odds of being chased are higher.
Cause let's be honest: Dead by Daylight is the least fun when your just sitting on a generator. Even as killer, I live for the thrill of the chase, not the gen pressure boring-ness. It's why Ruin/Undying is so common on killers.
It would also give a good gamemode for Stealth players, no gens mean they are encouraged to hide around as well.
