Why does DBD feel so boring lately?
Same Killers same survivors same…..always the same…..It‘s just boring at this point….The only thing that keeps me playing is the Rift Pass and that shouldn‘t rly be the only thing that keeps a player playing the game… I honestly don‘t know what they could do but High Rank Gameplay is just so boring and repetitive….Same Killers all the time (Spirit,Nurse,Blight) same perks….Ruin,Undying,Tinkerer and Corrupt….Just the same game every damn time and not even good teammates .-. What do you do that keeps you engaged in the game and is it just me who loses interest in this game? Let me know.

I’m a devotion 12 player and have been bored multiple times lmao. This is a very repetitive game with only 1 game mode, which is why it can get boring. I’d say just take a break and come back maybe when the next chapter is out. Breaks usually help me get back into it

You are not the only one who feels this way. I think it is normal when you overplay a game.
When I get like this I play other games or I focus on my art. Even 2 weeks away is enough to find the game fun once again ^^

because nothing has actually changed in the game it's self... it's still the same.... no new game modes... no different mechanics.. no major balance changes to bring solo up to the level of SWF to then make killer more fun..
and I play blight to keep me playing.

I know what you mean. This game does wear me out a lot but I for some odd reason can’t take a break because I love the game too much.
I try to play both sides equally so I don’t feel so bored if that makes any sense.

Been playing since doc came out and still having fun. Do I take breaks? Of course! All video games get boring and you get burnt lol but I must say after the rift stuff came around I find myself having a lot more fun personally.

I've been kinda bored myself, mainly because we've just had a streak of uninteresting killer powers. It's hard to not be bored when we haven't had any killers that are lacking intereactivity or just boring to play. Not to mention the full gen shutdown meta.
Hopefully when ptb drops we see something that is original, innovative, and fun. And not Recycled Medium Ranged Killer 4.0

Imma rant about this, but I'm about to stop playing again simply because
Survivor
I genuinely find survivor gameplay way too easy and because of that I find it boring. If your not being chased its hold M1. If your being chased, it's Shift + W around a pallet and throw the pallet down. Nurse and Spirit are the only killers I enjoy playing against, I'm still trying to learn to play against Blight.
Killer
It just bothers me that killers are forced to run slowdown to stand a chance or to remotely have fun.
My overall complaint is that BHVR isn't even tempting to shaking up the meta because I'm getting tired off seeing the same killer over and over. I'm tired of playing killer and being forced to run slowdown.

1 game mode doesnt matter, its that "5 Gens to Gate" problems.
Imaging a match goes like this:
1 survivor starts with a knowledge note that have to find other 3 survivors to share the knowledge (either direct sharing, or leave note on the ground for other to pickup and learn, note shows aura in 16m). And 4 chests spawn tools that you have to find and search. Only Survivor who has both knowledge & tools can start doing Gen.
A Survivor can collect maximum 8 charges of Gas at Gas stations. Then have to fill in Gen before fixing. Gen requires 16 charges of Gas to complete fixing. Killer hits Survivor will instantly deplete their carried Gas, Killer kicks Gen will instantly deplete Gas in Gen

Dead by Daylight lacks creativity, I would like there to be a custom way to create your own survivor or killer visually, in the style of Sims or GTA Online.
I would also sue for making a way to play with bots to train with killers or survivors, being able to choose your own killer or survivor depending on whether you have bought it or have it for free, also raise the difficulty to difficult, but that would surely never work because the bots that we have in the tutorial are pretty useless.

As others have said, because it's a boring game. It's fun to play when you're feeling it, but it offers very little compared to most games.
Most of us are probably horror fans just starved for content, so we naturally flock to it.

To be fair, I've been utterly refusing to run any public meta or tournament meta perks while playing survivor or killer unless I am utter dogshit at playing the killer(really, cant blame me for running NOED on Nurse when I fail my blinks 95% of the game, if you can avoid me 95% of the game because I never played Nurse even though you faced many Nurses, then your teammates had plenty of time to scour the map and cleanse NOED)

it's hide and seek in a clothing store. Play more than a few hours a week after you know whats going on and going to happen it gets boring FAST

Because they haven't added any good content besides a few perks in almost a year. Even if you liked every chapter this year you have to admit that all of them have been at best controversial. Haven't had a well received chapter since blight so the games been incredibly stale for me for awhile and if this chapter isn't at least as good as descend beyond i think thats it for me and this game for at least the next 3 to 4 months.
At least thats why the game is boring as hell for me lately.

Because the devs haven't really added anything to the game other than more chapters and a battle-pass.

Nothing changes. Even the "event" was super dry and repetitive, I only grind it for the BP.
Now the double BP is gone and gameplay is back to same old stuff.
Only tome challenges are somehow keeping me entertained to a degree.
We need more challenges and cosmetics rewards for them, not limited to just Tome but a certain characters or maps.
Also we need another gamemode, even some experimental one that would change every few weeks...

Devotion 9 player in total, you maybe burnt out, just like Cote said, play something else then come back fresh.
You maybe need a change of pace for a bit.
