i swear If Pinhead/The next killer is just gonna be another 1v1 killer
I will legit quit the game we really don't need another one of those killers that are "hurr durr im another 110%MS killer that has insane 1v1 but no map pressure and then devs are unable to balance me"

Personally, they should just quit making 110% Killers. They all cause some problems and are mostly overwhelmingly oppressive in chase but crap at everything else, or straight up broken (old Legion) or just complete bs like Spirit.
The only exception would be Huntress but for some reason they failed with everyone else.

I like 4.4m/s killers, I just think they shouldn't be made without some form of map mobility or pressure. Nobody enjoys having 5 gens pop across the map where you cannot feasibly stop them, and if they had mobility that would incentivise not making M2 At Animation Lock / M1 If Fake killer number #8.

His power will probably be something with chains that hinder survivors. Since we haven´t had a Trap killer for ages, he can probably set some sort of trap (chain trap?).

I think it stems from the 2/2 system, where they want to balance the game around two kills and two escapes (why?)
Which... is an absolute bummer to hear and if they keep making killers like them, it would entice more people to play older killers until they get reworked to fit that system.
Personally, I pray they that they find another method that works wonders and we can have more killers that are similar to our older counter parts. But the occasional "1v1" killer is fine, not a string, but an occasional. Like... maybe one in three released killers.
I like concept of the Twins, Deathslinger is a lot of fun to play as.
But, to be honest, I personally don't find Nemesis to fit in the 1v1 tag, he has map awareness and they offer slight pressure too, Grant it. They are RNG whether if it pays off or not, but...couldn't the same said to Trapper and Pig as well? Grant it, it's more of a poor example, but some days it just does not offer good support and other days it's making survivors absolutely panic.

I don't think he will be. Im expecting something more like Phead where he has a unique ability related to the hooks.

He should either be able to teleport, or set traps (but not both like Freddy please)

He gonna be a mix of Trickster and Nemesis.
Lot of chains that injure survivor and reload over time.

Like... you can autohook someone if you're within a certain range? I was imagining something like that

I agree, they should make Pinhead have a floating animation rather than a run animation and allow him to move at 160% speed. His power should be an AOE ability that shoots all the nails out of his head, in all directions, nailing any survivor in place.

I mean that wouldn't be. 1v1 killer then so I accept

Chain up and block windows maybe?

Quoting myself, because i was right. (partly)

My guess of having to solve the Lament Configuration to rid yourself of a negative status effect Ala Freddy was correct. As well as him using his signature Chains to attack (us Hellraiser fans KNEW they'd be incorporated). What I didn't guess was him directly controlling those Chains directly!

Yeah, that was a pleasant surprise!

I am very impressed by all the unique and classy animations they gave Pinhead. Def can see BHVR has been slowly ramping up their animation game from what was a few unique things (Hag & Spirit breaking things) to Hatch closing animations and unique pick-up animations, to now Pinhead doing everything hands-free!
I'm def excited to play him, even if I fear playing him on console could potentially be a nightmare. There's just a lot great with him so far. Perks I'm intrigued by, as well as the Hooks hindering the Survivors.

I´m not sure if he will be a strong killer. Since his power just slows survivors down (like Freddys blood puddles) but has to be aimed or comes from the box. Of course, he just released. So its waaaaay to early to draw a conclusion.
BUT the animations look great! The did a terrific job on him!

We’ll congrats he does have a Slinger 1v1, but some anti loop and good 4 v 1

I'd say at a first glance of things, that he'll possibly be middle of the road, but have the potential to be a bit above with the mindgame potential (not just regulated to loops) with using the Chain to scout ahead or in a chase go ahead of Survivors, or to hit a Survivor above/below you and cause some chaos.
He'll absolutely be tough to master with so much to juggle, but I welcome the tools he's given. Plus there's so much eyecandy for a Hellraiser fan like myself. When a Survivor is solving the Lament Configuration, the theme music of the Box from the movies plays, Pinhead says two direct quotes from the movie etc. I'm a giddy girl over it all!
