Could this be the rise of the healing meta?

Honestly, lately since MMR.

I’ve been noticing a pattern in my matches.

Survivors seem to escape with at least 2 or more people when healing quickly, via medkit or perk over the match.

Most of the time healing just takes too much time away from actually doing generators or totems. Hell even normal speed healing takes time away.

You can heal quickly with 2 rescuers but that would mean time spent away from objectives.

Hell I seen players just go straight for a gen after being unhooked.

We’ll make it seems to play a huge factor here, just cutting the time in half plus you can heal others fast for 90 seconds!

Self-care hasn’t returned to full force due to being extremely slow and time consuming. But works well with medkits.

Dunno this is just a theory, I could of gotten lucky and had competent teammates multiple times.

Imho it's probably because healing gives you an extra chance you wouldn't have running around injured, making you both less vulnerable and also reducing the amount of noise you make without Iron Will.

    To be fair though, I'll always try to go with heals. I want p o i n t s.

Funny enough I only encountered 2 plagues in this month.

The healing meta doesn’t apply here as much because being infected without cleansing just becomes no mither gang vs m1 killer.

medkits are the best thing good survivors can have. Killers who pressure gens will injure you and within seconds you can heal and negate their pressure quickly. i also think killers will change their perk loadouts for that reason in high mmr. Ruin just isnt worth it when coordinated survivors can cleanse it in the first 30 to 60 seconds into a match.

Healing is one of the best time extenders in the game. It's much more valuable than a flashlight for sure and arguable with a toolbox. If you are a good looper, being able to heal without going down can mean the next chase is at least 20+ seconds or more depending on tile RNG and resources left on the map. If a killer uses hit and run tactics or is not hooking rapidly then they will very quickly find themselves with low/no hooks and many gens popping.

Ruin is worth it. Otherwise it wouldnt be used in tournaments. But i think we will see it more often with pop.

I think medkits will promote tunneling. Its just not worth spreading the damage with most killer if they can heal quickly. And a destroyed pallet can be worth more than a hit with medkits.
