I'm sure you guys have already thought of this, but just in case, how about a killer who is a man sized snake, where it slithers rather than walks, or an animal on all fours like a wolf or a rhino or something? Maybe its not possible, I dunno.

I mean, why not?
As for a giant snake, I think it would better as a snake man so there’s the horror of a former human that was twisted into this. Slithering along pallets and such would be cool.
