What if keys and Moris were offerings.
What if they were rare offerings that changed the way the game works?
Yellow mori: stays the same
Green Mori: The map spawns darker with only 5 generators that take three times as long to complete. Only one generator needs to be completed to escape, generators cannot be regressed. There are very few pallets and windows. Downed survivors can be moried. Can the survivors hide well enough to complete the gen before the killer finds and kills them?
Red Mori: There are no generators and the exit gates go live in 3 minutes. Very few pallets and windows all survivors are exposed. Hide well or die.
Green Key: There are four hatches in the game and 20 chests. Four of the chests have keys, only one survivor can escape per key. About half the normal amount of pallets and windows and survivors die in 2 hooks.
Red key: There are 50 hatches in the map it takes 10 seconds for a survivor to open a hatch. Only one hatch leads to freedom. Two hooks and you are dead, half windows and pallets.

Moris are offerings

For the moris, the yellow one still sucks, and the other two don't seem like healthy design. For the keys, I can't tell if you're being serious or not with those numbers. How the hell is the game going to spawn 50 hatches?

The thing is thats not offerings modifying anything, thats outright different game modes.

It would fix 2 problems simultaneously if it was well implemented imo
the issue is is that it would very likely cause 50 different problems in completely different and unrelated areas

So using a green or red mori removes all the fun chase parts of the game, and turns it into ######### DBD hide and seek? Sounds amazing, sign me up.

Why are moris an unhealthy design you can't use them unless they are one death hook or the last survivor?

50 hatches?!

These just don't seem fun to play with...
Green Mori: Holding M1 on a gen is possibly the most boring thing to do and having to do so for 4 minutes just doesn't seem fun what so ever. Not only that but you only have half the resources at your disposal and you pretty much die if you go down, this just seems tedious and not fun for both sides since survivors will simply stealth it out, leading for very long and non eventful games
Red Mori: Stealth is the most boring thing to deal with as a killer and for a large majority of experienced survivors. And you're forcing survivors to do so
Green Key: Seems super RNG and can end games way too fast.
Red Key: Same thing as last but worst, way too RNG dependent and you can feel cheated on no matter what side you're playing depending on RNG

I think the Idea is actually awesome. Each mori would be a different game mode. Love it. Also if people bring multiple offerings, just to avoid conflicts, the highest rarity will always be taken, and it's 50/50 if both killer and survivor have the same rarity.

Yes, pretty much.
