Pinhead's dbd lore is confusing
I understand the devs change the lore around to fit the game, but if you think about how his powers translate from the game to his dbd it gets confusing. From his dbd lore:
"A demon to some, an angel to others. Pinhead is an explorer in the further regions of experience, indulging in the limitless thrill of pleasure and pain. When the puzzle box known as the Lament Configuration — a key to another dimension — was found in The Entity's Realm, it was only a matter of time before it fell into curious hands. Once opened, he arrived. What came next was sweet suffering that spilled over the Realm."
Basically to open the box (thus summoning Pinhead) you have to solve it & to banish them you have to unsolve it, except in game he can come before you even solve it despite the fact that solving it is what's supposed to summon him in the 1st place.
Also if we think about the moris you can go the whole match without touching it, but he'll still send the moriable survivors to hell anyways. Now how is that fair? If he could do that the whole time why even care about the box in the 1st place?
Lastly, he doesn't sound like he's enjoying getting stunned or blinded when anything painful is supposed to be pleasurable to him.

"You Opened the Box,& I Came"
Maybe the Entity Solved it?

>:/ Then he should take that up with the Entity now shouldn't he, why's he gotta involve the survivors like that.

What is he going to do?Torture/Kill something that does not have a Physical Form

I see it as either the Entity struck a deal with Leviathan to borrow Pinhead. Or that the Entity "solved" the Lament Configuration and that everything within the Entity's realm could be intrinsically linked to it, thus Pinhead sees everyone as fair game. That all are part of that which opened the Lament Configuration.

Is this a troll post? Are survivor mains trying to whine even about the LORE reasons on why killers kill survivors now?

Yes, this a post in the lore section telling the devs to nerf Pinhead.

Yep, classic survivor crying baby.

Somebody opened the box. He came. Thats quite literally all the lore were given and likely all the lore were gonna get. Crossover characters aren't canon anyways, as they usually don't make much sense. Though frankly pinheads lore makes the least sense, because how the hell did the configuration even get into the entities realm? Was some dummy holding it when the entity snatched them up? So many questions.

That's what I was confused about. Who opened it & if it was the Entity or someone else, why is Pinhead going about torturing survivors?

Well we can answer those two things simply. The lore states that "somebody" opened it. it never specifies who, but it is assumed a survivor who stumbled upon it and solved the box in some vain hope it will help them survive. And pinhead is going around torturing survivors because he likes to, its kind of his whole deal. He is also very likely not under the entities employment, just performs sacrifices because it is pleasurable to him to see the survivors suffer.

We know the entity is a collector of items from different universes, so maybe he grabbed it and took it to his tower. As far as we know he isn’t being tortured, so perhaps he tossed it in the void and the entity grabbed it, solved it, and summoned him.

In Hellbound: Hellraiser II Pinhead says:
"It is not hands that summon us. It is desire."
So survivors who are in the match already... Haven't they come there with a desire for suffering?
