Stranger Things DLC codes once content is no longer purchasable?

Let's say I was to buy more than one code for the Stranger Things DLC to give away before it's gone forever from the shop (on steam or wherever else); would the steam codes for the game still be redeemable after the DLC is no longer accessible?

    I am also curious about this. For most Steam games, they can still be played if you got it from a CD key.

    If you want to be safe you can just redeem the code on an alt, if the reason for doing this is what I think it is

    if you do that you can also buy the skins, which this method certainly wont let you do.


    They're likely valid forever though
