The entity is losing its grip

After seeing Pinhead confirmed my mind instantly wandered to comparing Pyramid Head and Pinhead. Two entities that seemingly exist and follow their own volition despite being in the entities realm.

Pyramid Head existence is still a bit of a mystery since he technically has no reason to exist being he was a projection of someone else's guilt. He can tear apart the entities realm with his abilities and kills whenever he feels like it rather than following the rules everyone else is bound too. The entity might now even have any grip on him at all and is only leading him through an endless maze of realms as he searches for his true target.

The Cenobites or Pinhead himself has literally no lore tied in with dbd. Right now in ptb it seems that Pinhead is only in the entities realm is because the box is there which the entity so tightly holds onto. It's peculiar because the entity normally either forces or bribes killers into being the entities servents but beings like Pinhead and Pyramid Head seem to be a bit more beyond the entities grasp.

The entity may be a dark God but these other beings are servents of other potentially even stronger dark gods.

Lastly there's nothing to bribe these demons with. Pinhead from his personality of the first few movies, not the straight to video, is just an otherworldly being who can't tell the difference between pain and pleasure thus he navigates different realities for new more extreme pleasures while pushing those same extremes onto whoever opens the lament configuration. He's not interested in infinite amounts of blood and doing the same thing forever for a God that isn't even his own.

Pyramid is a projection of guilt, a being that is Lazer focused onto one single person, hell bent on serving out proper punishment, justice and torture. Yes he is extended sadistic in nature but his existence and being only serve that purpose against one target and anyone in the way. It would kind of be impossible to bribe him, let alone even torture him submission.

Lol I get what you mean but doubt hooks through the shoulder is comparable to pleasure/pain that literally tears your soul apart

People seem to keep forgetting that the Entity made a deal with Pyramid Head. We don't know the specifics of that deal, but we can presume that Pyramid Head gets to do as he pleases provided he follows a certain ruleset (which we see in how he cannot execute non-tormented Survivors without a Mori).

On the other hand, Pinhead was not planned. He just kind of showed up when someone found the Lament Configuration. But he still cannot drag Survivors down without the Entity's permission, showing that he is more than willing to work for it, presumably after seeing the hooks.

The Entity may be a little in over its head, but it's still in control.

With Pinhead, I can only really see the Entity making a deal with Leviathan, another all-powerful being who rules over the Cenobites in their realm, to borrow Pinhead to sow pain & pleasure amongst the Survivors. Sort of like hiring a Mercenary.

It's certainly biting more than it can chew.

It already has some problems with less powerful killers: Anna can temporarily lose connection with the Entity, forcing the red stain to disappear (which I suddenly thought of now can be taught, and therefore other killers are able to break that stain), Rin is barely controlled due to her sheer rage and Myers really doesn't give a damn regardless.

Adding a creation from the Sun Goddess's realm and one of the most powerful denizens of Hell, it's pushing the limits. This'll either pay off, or cause a chaos that may make The Entity's universe-devouring nature feel like a blessing!

Pinhead is bound by some rules of the realm, but it also appears that the Entity cannot prevent survivors being dragged to Hell when he gets the Mori (unless this is a hallucination Pinhead is subjected to). Still, that feels like a weakness. Also, Pyramid Head tortures the realm constantly, probably feeding off all the guilt there and breaching gaps for the Sun Goddess.

Ironically, this cosmic parasite has started to acquire its own parasites. Whether to relieve it of the burden it carries, or a consequence of sheer gluttony, it's not the only feeder here.

My personal opinion: the survivors are being dragged to the next lobby. I am not gonna say the Entity's dimension is heaven.
