Even if they got licensing rights for army of darkness material I would assume their excuse would be that they'd chose against this because it's 'too killer appearing' and baby survivors would get confused lol.

I'm not saying they shouldn't add it, I think it would be awesome. I'm just give you the reason why they won't do it. It's a moot point anyways because they don't have the army of darkness license.

Every Evil Dead property has a difference license. They only licensed Ash vs. Evil Dead, so they'd need to take out a separate license for anything from Evil Dead 1 and 2 or Army of Darkness.
While I'd love to see content from the movies, the odds of it are pretty slim. That being said, what about one of his twin from the show?
