Region lock?

Anyone know if they are going to region lock servers? I'm tired of playing against people in Mexico or overseas with 600 ping getting easy wins because of them lagging so bad and the server trying to compensate for their end.

    Well the issue is, it's overwhelmingly expensive to have servers in every location, and the more servers you have, the more "pools" of players you have, which splits the player base in that location, it's incredibly likely there is no server in Mexico and players from Mexico are matched with US players, as for matching with overseas players they're likely VPNing or if they're survivor they're queued with a friend from a different region as the matchmaking very rarely (if ever) will jump to a server in another continent.
