Conjuring Chapter idea - The crooked man
Many of people want to see Valak from conjuring 2 in dbd. I think there's better candidate for conjuring killer in dbd, who fits kinda better. I think about:
"The crooked man"
His weapon would be his sharp umbrella. I think his power could be turning into dog, so he can chasing survivors faster, and after that, turn into his Basic form.
Or there's also second option. Maybe devs gonna do something interesting with his music box.

I am in favor of this. The Crooked man seems such like a good concept. I never watched the movie unfortunately, but I've seen his clips and oh my god yes.

I'm genuinely curious as to whether or not BHVR would actually do a Conjuring-themed chapter, either with the Crooked Man or the Nun. The reason I'm not sure is it's heavy religious ties and themes. So far, BHVR has seemed to avoid any ties with any sort of living religion.

Well the crooked man didn't originate in the conjuring. He's like a folktale

The best part of the Crooked Man is he was mostly practical. Some of the shots were obviously CG, but if I remember right that scene where he stalks down that little girl is mostly practical. I actually recommend the first two Conjuring films, I thought they were pretty damn decent.

True, but this comment is specifically asking for the Crooked Man from The Conjuring. The Conuring was no doubt a massive boost to the character's popularity.

Javier Botet is an amazing creature actor
it was but they wouldn't have to use the conjuring two especially because his appearance doesn't really change throughout history.

He really is. The poor guy doesn't get as much recognition as he deserves, mainly because he's always in make-up, but he's ######### amazing.
And I'm not really sure. Warner Bros. has been talking about a Crooked Man film ever since the second Conjuring came out, so they have licensed the name. Don't get me wrong, I would love a Conjuring chapter, I'm just curious as to whether or not BHVR would take from a series so tied to religion. I know that's a very sore subject for a lot of people.

That was made by like a no-budget company if I remember right, just capitalizing off the success the Conjuring. As far as I am aware, the 'conjuring universe' version of Crooked Man hasn't come out
