Darn, I just got out gamered by a red key and a set hatch spawn offering
Darn, it always sucks when you get beat by someone with a better gaming chair.
Sarcasm aside, I genuinely cannot wait for for the mori/key rework system, what do you think they'll do?

I'm really unsure, but in the meantime, us Killers coming so close to a hard-earned win and being robbed of it in 5 seconds will continue.

Its hard to say. BHVR are generally pretty hush hush with how they balance the game. We can assume they'll likely change the method in which keys are obtained/used and how the hatch spawns. My best guess is they'll make it so hatch only spawns in the endgame, and make it so keys only allow the holder to escape. Just a rough guess though

why was the 'choose the hatch location' created? Knowing where the hatch is, is only valuable to the killer if the survivors dont have a key.
Yet, why would the survivors ever choose this offering without a key?
I need to know the thought process.

I think a good idea would be to make it where you can mori survivors after hooking everyone once. It would encourage not tunneling as right now it’s almost a requirement to tunnel. As for keys, maybe they’ll add some side objective that balances out the idea I have for moris. I’m not sure what they’ll do though but I’m intrigued to see what it is.

same, I'm okay with keys obviously letting survivors escape in a group, but it feels too easy at the moment, especially since gen times are kinda a joke. Oh, I also had someone force kill themselves to make it spawn faster

Moris- NO idea how they’re gonna change them again but hopefully they’ll be more useful.
keys- i’m hoping they make them open hatch only when all 5 gens are done. No more skipping the objective.

Just making it so that you need to spend a little while opening the hatch with the key would go a long way in making them more balanced. Something akin to searching a chest and it would use charges of the key to do so.
I wouldn't be opposed to keys only being able to be found in chests in a match but I would miss them as an aura reading item so if they went that route I would hope that they'd give us a replacement item that only does aura-reading.
I just want to be able to use them for aura reading without ruining a killers game and likewise I want to be able to not worry about them when I'm playing as killer.

I seen a video where they talked about the reworks and they are supposed to tie into each other but thats all I've heard

It'd be nice if it was something like double totems: 15-30 seconds to unlock (doesn't drain charges, but can't be used at zero charges), killer gets a Killer Instinct warning when it's being unlocked, and if you stop unlocking progress is reset. If they're far enough away, they won't make it on time. But no more stealth escaping or just popping it open mid-chase and jumping through.

I don't know why killers are constantly so so so so so bothered by this.
Play solo survivor, and see how often you're screwed over by teammates brining in keys!

Proxy gens all match and sit on the hatch in defiance when it spawns. Trappers traps or doctors shock help get things all settled.

Oh, trust me, I know that pain.
The pain of someone skipping out, just to have the Killer cut you off immediately after sucks.
But it sucks from a Killer's persoective when it's just an uncounterable escape unless you dedicate your exustence to draining that Key dry.

I agree that it sucks for killers. My point is just, you guys can't do anything about it, so stop letting it bother you. I honestly wish survivors couldn't even bring keys into games. I leave every lobby where my teammate brings one.

It's the same thought process that nerfed Billy & kept the Bloodied Blueprint offering in the game.
One of the most useless offerings in the entire game. I almost never see it being used.

I use the basement offerings on hag quite a bit, to not have to waste time at the start figuring out where to set up. Same with trapper.
But the fact this combo is in the game is pretty outrageous; especially in the hands of SWF who can bring in a map offering on top of it. Throw in a BNP or two and you got the most OP SWF build imageable.

Yeah, I have to admit that I'm very cynical about whether BHVR are actually working on a key fix at all - I suspect they just said that to try to make people quiet down. They've made it pretty clear that it's not a priority for them despite how much it screws killers over.

I've been complaining about those offerings since the Blight release. All the offerings that came with the Blight chapter are either unhealthy or worthless.
